Ideal for Vinyl and Music
I got this by accident when the store who sold it to me had to price match this with tne one sold out. Saved 100 euro.
So this is what you would call ideal for when you buy a vinyl player with cheap sound, modern ones have bluetooth and thats why i bought this.
Spotify paired with this is like a rock concert in your living room. If you go on You Tube and watch a rock concert it gives it that feel like you were there.
It works straight out of the box. Only drawback is a positive one which are the functions. It seems to only work on night mode. And night mode is amazing.
It is one of the best soundbars ever made and the subwoofer completes it.

Elegant system
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As usual with Sony products,a very solid and pretty sound bar ,feels quality made
It fits seamlessly in front of tv
The voices are very clear compared to my other home theatre
Nice deep sounds on movies
S-force pro widens the sound a little not as much as a 5.1 system for instance ,but no wires all over the room.
I have not needed to put volume up beyond 50% yet ,excellent for neighbours!
Easy setup and synced to my Sony tv quickly so I can use tv remote for most buttons.
Has some neat little touches like a built in ir repeater and a subwoofer checker
I set up my mobile phone easily using Bluetooth function
There is a secure link to subwoofer if there is an interference problem
I think that a small screen on front may have helped with some of the functions but realise that that would have taken away the clean lines a little and may have been a distraction
All in all I really like the system and will use it in preference to my bigger 1000watt system,

Does most what I wanted
Excellent product. Only draw back is on some Films on DVDs or Bu Ray the sound bar is muted due to the producers of the DVD. Love playing my music through it sounds very rich. The spoken words are clear as well.

Good sound but Bluetooth Issues
Easy to set up and has good sound. The separate base speaker is linked by Bluetooth and set up by itself without issues. Unfortunately I have been unable to set up a Bluetooth link to my phone, because pressing the Bluetooth button brings up a "NOT USE" message. Could do with another input socket for BlueRay player etc.

excellent sound
I bought this sound bar to replace my nine year old Bose system which was not totally compatible with my new television. They work so well together, could do with a little more base to suit my ears.

Great system
I got this item around 2 weeks back and let me tell you it is great! Easy connection via bluetooth or HDMI which ever one you prefer. The sound from the bar itself is amazing and when coupled with the auto connect sub; it is out of this world. Movies, music all connected via your phone or tv (youtube, etc) and the sounds are crisp and clear. Turn the bar on and the sub connects auto, turn it off and the sub turns off no need for pressing buttons seperately. The system can be controlled via the provided remote or from your TV remote. Your choice.

Good quality overrall but..
This sony soundbar has a good sound quality overall but is a bit too bassy, and can get noisy easily, especially in a small room. The setup was very easy. The subwoofer is the best part of this set, if placed correctly it has amazing quality. I would recommend it more for tv than for music.

Good sound,pity about the bass
This soundbar is well finished,looks great and is easy to set up. Bluetooth sub connected itself when first powered up. I am not impressed with the sub woofer, it feels underpowered. It has to be run on maximum volume to be heard at all. The indicator lights are a bit confusing (you need to have the manual to hand to interpret them) The soundbar itself is pretty good and the voice mode seems to bring out the dialogue pretty well. I contacted Sony about the sub woofer and they responded very quickly telling me to reset the unit and unplug the speaker. This helped a little but I still think that a sub that size should put out more than it does. Overall I'm not really impressed and wouldn't recommend it to anyone that I like.
