What if I have products that Harvey Norman don’t normally sell?

How do I apply to be a Partner?

We’ll supply you with a Supplier Application and on-board you onto our enterprise grade portal for loading products and processing orders. Our global E-merchandising team will prepare your products for delivery online with the relevant SEO tags. It’s simple, easy and free.
How do I add my products?
We provide you with access to a world class enterprise grade portal for loading your products in a way that suits you. There are multiple ways to interact with this portal and multiple users from your organisation can be given access to interact with products and orders.
How will I know what orders to process?
All orders are delivered to you through Enterprise Grade portal which enables you to receive order and customer details, update order statuses, and interact directly with Harvey Norman (Ireland) Customer Service.
Do I have to process and package my orders in a specific way?
We have no specific ‘Harvey Norman’ packaging requirements. We want you to keep fulfilling orders in an efficient and environmentally friendly way without the burden of having different packaging requirements for different orders.
What are the costs of selling in the Customer Direct Partner Program?
There are no costs for joining or belonging to the Customer Direct Partner Program. Nor are there any fees or commissions for access or use to the portal or any sales for products. We negotiate a buy price for each SKU prior to listing.
Is the platform secure?
The Edge from Virtualstock (see link) is a highly secure enterprise grade SAAS in use globally by blue chip companies delivering superior service in Drop Ship and Marketplace environments.
How do you select your partners?
We look for Partners that align with our Brand position, Customer service level requirements, and availability to deliver product quality and price fairness to the Irish Consumer.
Do you assist with on-boarding?
We completely assist with all aspects of Supplier account creation, product on-boarding, e-merchandising, order fulfilment and post-sale customer service. This is truly a partnership of great businesses and brands working together to meet consumers where they are with what they need.
How does the customer service element work?
We have a full-time team of dedicated Customer service professionals. Our Customer Service team are there to support the customer journey every step of the way both prior and post-sale. The Irish Consumer always purchases from Harvey Norman (Ireland) and will receive invoice confirmation to support that. They will contact Harvey Norman Customer Service and where necessary the Customer Service team will immediately be in touch with the relevant supplier to resolve any customer service issues in the appropriate manner according to the needs of that transaction.
What are the shipping, delivery and return policies?
All shipping charges are negotiated at SKU level and are part of the pre-listing negotiations. The supplier is responsible for arranging all deliveries and collections to/from the consumer. All products are delivered from the Suppliers point/s of distribution and need to be returned to same in the event of a necessary collection.
How long does it take to get paid?
Our standard payment terms are 30days month end.
Can I remove my products at any time?
Yes, you can delist any product at any time.
How much stock do I need on hand in order to list my products?
There is no minimum requirement, however depending on the nature of the product if the available-to-sell stock on hand quantity dips below a certain minimum threshold, that product will no longer appear as available to purchase until such time as the stock on hand value has been increased.
Who selects which products a supplier can list for sale?
The Harvey Norman Ireland Marketplace team approve all products for listing in collaboration with the other internal departments and stakeholders at Harvey Norman Ireland.
Can customers return products to your stores?
Presently we do not allow returns to stores for items purchased through the Customer Direct Partner Program.
Can customers have my products delivered to your stores for click & collect?
Presently we do not allow Click & Collect fulfilment for items purchased through the Customer Direct Partner Program.
