Finance FAQ's
What finance options are available and what do they cover?
Harvey Norman offers three different finance options:

For Technology orders, we offer up to 36 months flexible payments.

For Home Appliances & TV orders, we offer up to 24 months interest free payments.

For Furniture, Beds & Mattress orders, we offer up to 36 months 0% APR.
Can I use these options in store or online?
Yes, these options can be used in-store and online.
What do I need to apply for finance?

A valid photo ID (passport, drivers’ licence).

Be over 18 years of age.
-
Have a monthly income of at least €1,000 per month.

Proof of PPS and home address.
-
A debit/credit card.
-
A good credit history.
What is the minimum/maximum amount I can finance?
For Technology orders, the minimum amount that can be financed is €250.00. The maximum amount that can be financed is €5,000.00.
For Home Appliances & TV orders, the minimum amount that can be financed is €80.00. The maximum amount that can be financed is €5,000.00.
For Furniture, Beds & Mattress orders, the minimum amount that can be financed is €500.00. The maximum amount that can be financed is €30,000.00.
How long is the approval process?
It does not take long to be approved for finance, it would usually take up to an hour to be approved or declined.
Can I pay off part of my loan early and would there be any penalties?
Yes, you can log into the Humm customer portal and pay the finance off early. If you go onto the “make a once-off payment” option on the portal, it allows you to pay off the finance early. You can do this as many times as you like. There would be no penalties for paying this off early and you would not be charged any more interest.
Can I change the debit/credit card on the account?
Yes, this can be changed through the Humm customer portal.
Is there interest on these finance options?
There would be interest on Humm orders on Technology items and Furniture, Beds & Mattresses paid for over 48 months or 60 months.

I applied for finance and the option is not showing on the check out. What is the reason?
The Humm option may not appear if the product you are looking to purchase is under the minimum finance amount. It may also not appear if there are a mix of items in your basket. If you need assistance, please contact us and we can guide you through your purchase.

Am I guaranteed to be approved for finance?
The decision is not made by Harvey Norman and approval is not always guaranteed. Having a positive credit history will increase your chances of approval. In the unlikely event that you are declined, Harvey Norman would not be advised of the reason of this. You would be provided with the contact details for the CCR where they can advise further on this.
