Turnaround Time

We keep frequently required parts in stock. This allows us to complete some repairs within a matter of hours! Our average turnaround time of 3-5 days is also well below the national average for other Apple Service Providers.

Following service from Harvey Norman, Apple will ask that you rate our service from start to finish. Our Apple Customer Satisfaction rating is 90% and above all year round.

Premium Service Provider

In recognition of maintaining such high service standards, Apple have awarded Harvey Norman with Premium Service Provider status for the years 2017 and 2018. We are the only service provider in Ireland to hold this status consecutively over the last two years.

Mac Services

As an Authorised Apple Service Provider we offer a full range of repair options, regardless of whether the repair is an Apple Limited Warranty, AppleCare or out-of-warranty service.


We diagnose devices using genuine Apple diagnostics and carry out repairs with genuine Apple parts. We also offer the fastest possible turnaround time on all Mac repairs, significantly faster than the national average.

Apple Limited Warranty & AppleCare

If the fault you are experiencing is covered by any form of Apple warranty, we will carry out whatever work is required completely free of charge.


If your device was purchased anywhere outside Harvey Norman, in some cases you may need to provide a valid proof of purchase to claim warranty coverage.

Out-of-Warranty Repair

For diagnosis and initial inspection there is a €69 charge. Once diagnosis is complete, a repair price will be generated.


Should you decline this quote, the €69 fee will stand and the device will be returned unrepaired. If you decide to proceed, the €69 is not charged.

Repair Services

iPhone

We understand how important your iPhone is to you. If something goes wrong, you need it back up and running as soon as possible. Whatever the fault, our team of Apple certified technicians can offer a solution.


Certain faults such as camera failure may require a repair. Other faults such as device not powering on, may require a whole unit replacement. There is no charge provided the fault is covered by your warranty.


Both options are available out of warranty, however pricing will depend on the fault, but our iPhone technicians will be on hand to advise you of your pricing options every step of the way. You could be up and running again for as little as €30.

Running into problems with your Apple Watch and not sure what to do?


Most Apple Watch issues can be resolved by keeping your software up to date. Sometimes however, service is required. In warranty, the solution is generally a replacement device. The same option is available out of warranty, as a chargeable service.

Beats

Beats products are also part of the Apple family, which means Apple Service Providers offer support with your Beats should you ever come into difficulty.


The in warranty service option will be a whole unit replacement, free of charge! The same option is available out of warranty, as a chargeable service.

Additional Services

Data Recovery Services

No warranty or service plan covers your personal data and there is every chance it may be deleted as part of the troubleshooting or repair process. We will always advise you to make a back-up. If you are unable to or if your data is lost, speak to one of our certified technicians about your options.


If you own a device and want to sell it or gift it to someone, speak to our team about securely wiping your data from it.

  • Data Back-Up (from a working device): €50

  • Data Recovery (from a non-working/corrupt device): €100

Under the Battery Replacement Program, batteries for the models below will be made available to Apple Authorised Service Providers at a reduced price until 31st December 2018. As a result, Harvey Norman are pleased to offer the following significantly discounted pricing:

This pricing is the lowest pricing available for genuine Apple batteries fitted by Apple certified technicians.

Repair Information

Battery Replacement Program pricing applies in cases where the device has suffered no damage. If the iPhone has been damaged or modified, impairing the replacement of the battery, the damage/modification in question must be resolved prior to the battery replacement.


Examples of such damage/condition may include:
  • Presence of a third party parts.

  • Cracked display.

  • Unauthorised modification.


Our Apple certified technicians will be on hand to offer advice on any issues that may make it difficult for us to replace the battery.

Turnaround Time Information

Turnaround time may vary depending on battery stock availability. Where the battery is in stock, our certified technicians complete the service within 24 hours. Same day turnaround is also possible, however, we advise that you request an appointment with our team in advance to facilitate this.


Should your battery not be in stock, we can still help. Our Apple certified technicians can advise on the exact turnaround time following an initial inspection. In most cases this is 1-3 working days.

iPhone 6s Repair Extension Program

Apple has determined that a very small number of iPhone 6s devices may unexpectedly shut down. This is not a safety issue and only affects devices within a limited serial number range that were manufactured between September and October 2015.


Should your device be eligible for the repair extension program, there is no charge for the service regardless of whether or not your iPhone is covered by warranty. Please note: Your iPhone must comply with the same criteria for warranty coverage to avail of the repair extension coverage.

Nationwide Collection Service

There are dedicated Lovetech teams in each of our 13 stores, so chances are we have a team near you.


If your issue can be resolved in store, our Lovetech teams can offer assistance. If however your device requires repair, this will be carried out at our authorised repair centre in Rathfarnham.


If you are unable to make it to any of our stores to seek service, don’t worry – we also offer a nationwide collection service.



Terms & Conditions

Shipping charges of €20 will apply in cases where the repair quotation is declined, or if there is no trouble found with the device.

Shipping fee payments are made over the phone directly to our repair centre prior to the return of the device.

Return shipping is also available and can be arranged with your technician during the repair process.

Prepare For Repair

If you think your device needs service, make sure you see our pre-repair checklist. Once everything is ticked, we’ll take care of the rest!

iOS

  • Back up your iOS device.
  • Remove device from your iCloud account.
  • Remove any SIM card, case or screen protectors.
  • Bring any accessories that may relate to the fault e.g. power cable.
  • Remove any passcode or lock.

Mac

  • Make a back-up of all user data.
  • Remove device from your iCloud account.
  • Remove your profile password.
  • Bring any accessories that may relate to the fault e.g. power cable.

If you have been unable to make a backup of your data, don’t worry, we offer a data recovery service at all Lovetech locations. In some cases, a sales invoice may be required. This may only be necessary in a small number of ‘In Warranty’ cases. However to avoid delays, we ask that you are able to provide this when required.
