Useful auto features incl Bluetooth
Sony PS-LX310BT bluetooth LP/Vinyl player.
Good Points:
1) Bluetooth connects well and is very useful (say to connect to portable speaker)
2) Comes with pre-amp so this record player (I do not consider it a turntable) is great as it can connect to the "Line-In" or "Aux" RCA connectors found on the back of many units
3) Produces good sound
4) Auto feature buttons of "Start", "Stop" and "Up/Down" are useful
5) Auto end at the end of an LP useful
6) Good feture of On/Off switch at the back
7) Plastic see through cover is well made
8) The square design is quiet good as it has good absorbent feet and a pleaseing box shape
Bad Points:
i) Better material choice needed
-Too much plastic makes it cheap looking
-Too lightweight - agin refer to choice of materials
-Design should have much more use of silver /aluminium far too much black plastic esp the tone arm
ii) No clamp for holding tone arm is a terrible omission (can damge needle if moving)
iii) RCA or phone leads should be revovable at the back not built into the unit. Costsaving evident again
iv) Power cable is awful thin & cheap, also not pleased with transformer in plug
v) Belt driven not direct drive
vi) Cartridge cannot be changed and little adjustment in force so stuck with limited needle choice
All in all it is good, but expensive considering the lack of design detail and evident costcutting. Basically it is a plug & play and not something beautiful like other turntables

I bought this turntable after a bit of research and I haven't been disappointed. Like all of my Sony products it performs as expected and I would have no problem recommending it

Perfect Low Price Turntable
Just as good as the What HiFi review and perfect for someone new to vinyl, or someone wanting to get back into the joys of spending all your money on 12" of plastic. It's fully automatic and there's a switch for 45rpm and from 7" to 12" which really reminds me of record players back in the 70s and 80 before audiophile players were all that was left. The sound is fabulous for the price and you can connect the old-fashioned analogue way using cables or via blue tooth. It's just so well thought out, there's a switch from line level (to connect to an amp) or the built in phono stage lets you connect direct to powered desktop speakers and it's built like a tank and looks very sleek.
Pair it with Ruark Desktop speakers and you've got a sensational vinyl starter pack for around €500. I use it on my office, with desktop speakers allowing me to play vinyl whilst working...a dream of turntable for the money.

Great purchase if you’re into records but not wires
Really nice record player. Very easy to operate. It connected instantly to our Robert’s Bluetooth radio with no drop in sound. And it looks very nice too. Make sure you have a decent space to put it as it is quite big and needs to be clear of obstructions when opening the lid.
There was more assembly required than I thought there’d be but it was easy to do. Just make sure you read the instructions. Very happy with it.

Great device with interesting features
Bought this device as a gift for someone who was looking to step into vinyl and collecting vinyl. The sound on it is great. Easy to use automatic play and stop functions are very useful. And the bluetooth functionality is perfect for a young person simply looking to listen to their vinyl. Fits perfectly in any modern home, a little on the large side for a turntable

Modern technology for good old vinyl!
When my old turntable gave up the ghost, I began searching for a new one. Technology has moved on so much since I last bought any stereo components that I could now buy a turntable that connects to a speaker via Bluetooth. I know vinyl purists do not appreciate this feature, but it suits me because my speakers are rather large and cumbersome, so having the option of replacing them with something a lot more compact is an added bonus. I’m just happy to be able to listen to my vinyl records again.
The turntable is very easy to set up - there is some simple assembly required, but it is all clearly explained in the instruction manual. It looks sleek and stylish, and is very easy to operate. I particularly like the straightforward “start” button that automatically moves the needle to the edge of the record. I’m a big fan of Sony products, and this turntable lives up to my expectations of a Sony item. Overall, I am delighted with my purchase.

Clear sound with no rumble or distortion
Bought a few weeks ago and very pleased with the quality of the sound. Everything works as it should, though the buttons on the front feel a bit light and somewhat noisy to the extent that I wonder if they'll last as well as the unit generally, which appears solid enough.

Sony Record Player
I bought this as a gift for my Dad - he had vinyl he hasn’t played in years due to not replacing his old record player. The player is great. Easy set up, neat, has a dust guard and sound quality when coupled with a wireless speaker is excellent. Highly recommend.
