Charging issues - product design issue
I quite like the device - the sound quality is good, the battery life is good, the volume is good and I quite like the fact that I can use it as a speaker as well as a radio.
However, the issue that I keep having is that after 1 month or 2 this device stops charging. I returned the product twice, meaning that I already exchanged 3 devices.
Now the third one seems to have the same issue as the other two, which means that I will have to send it back yet again. This to me sounds like a product design issue, which needs to be addressed, because I cannot keep sending the product back until the warranty runs out.

Tuner XL is excellent
This is a great radio and Bluetooth player, i was a bit worried when i couldn't find a tone control but I really doesn't need one. Rich tones, great style and very easy to use and tune. If you want bass monster then buy something else. Love it.

Great features
I bought the JBL XL Tuner two weeks ago... The purchasing experience was great along with speedy delivery from JBL. However, the display brightness of the unit is low and cannot be seen in bright sunshine or well-lit rooms. Also, the base could be a little deeper. Apart from that a very nice bit of kit and I am pleased...

Sounds great!
I’m quite happy with it sounds good not to heavy sounding bass wise as I have it in my bathroom. Sound quality is good it also looks very nice but was disappointed with the fact that the display goes off once you have selected your station or source and there is no time display.
