The best handheld hoover for small money
I would encourage everyone to look in YouTube and see how this compares to other cheaper brands. Yes they all suck up most debris from the floor, but it’s all coming back out again.
This is where the Dyson shines. Emptying the bin on this thing is maybe the most satisfying thing ever. The fine dust it collects is out of this world. I’ll keep my big Miele corded hoover for big jobs but for hoovering a room in 2 minutes I couldn’t be happier. It is worth the premium compared to other brands.

With added pointless emails
If I had known the amount of pointless email traffic this purchased would generate - including this request for a review - I might well have gone elsewhere. It's a vacuum cleaner. It does that.

Poor performance
I bought this to replace a v6. I thought it would be better but the suction is worse and it has a really irritating intermittent squeaking noise. The motorised head isn’t as good at picking up dirt compared to the v6 but doesn’t get caught up with long hairs as much. Also, none of the v6 accessories fit as Dyson changed the connectors.
