Only real problem is that the dust container's handle is higher than main machine handle
Picks up fine dust. Turbo brush works fine. Beware if getting the non “cat and dog” one with only the ordinary non-turbo brush as one cannot push that brush to and fro but really only drag that on a carpet. Turbo brush though has no such problem.
Machine is decent- quiet running, and fairly light and compact.
Dust container is fine for my needs but why on Earth does the handle profile for it have to have been so made high? One goes to grab the handle of the dust container rather than the machine. This is especially not good whilst the machine is running as it lifts the dust container away. Hoping that will get used to that but not done so thus far and well the dust container handle just should be a lower profile. Irksome as using the machine with the turbo head gives a very good overall performance.

Worth the price ...
Excellent machine, does a fantastic job. Works great on both hard floors and carpet. More expensive than others but is far more robust and better all round.

My house feels cleaner.
The CX1 Cat and Dog is a sturdy well made vacuum cleaner. The best thing is that it picks up all the bits and the turbo brush collects my long hair, unlike my previous cleaner. We don't have pets but do shed hair. I like having several controls on the appropriate suction . My house feels a lot fresher and cleaner. The crevice tool is great when doing the car.
Downside, the 3 attachments fall off the hose clip. Cleaning all the filters takes some time and need 24 hours to dry so factor this in to your decision. The hair round the turbo brush has to be cut off and there is a specially designed groove on the brush to do this.
Overall it moves well, has a long cord and I am pretty happy with it after one month. I found that trying to register for the guarantee was quite a performance . My tip is to take a photo of the serial number once you've found it.

Excellent bagless vacuum cleaner
This hoover has not disappointed and I am very happy, the suction is fantastic. there are some things that are in the design I would change which are very small. The cable requires you to hold your foot on the button, it doesn’t automatically take it after one hit - our last Miele did this. You can’t stand it up, so isn’t as easy to store. There is also one side to attach to handle.

I can do all my bungalow very quickly and easily. The cleaner is so lightweight and I really look forward to using it, truely! I would definitely recommend this product and the price is totally compatible with most other brands..
I originally bought a Shark ant-hair wrap pet cleaner, which went wrong within 6 months. It was repaired and then eight months down the line it has packed up. I am still awaiting a response for my cleaner which is less than 18 months old. In my despair, I bought the Boost CX1 bagless cat & dog - which I totally regret not doing first. It is fantastic. So light, so easy. So clean!

The usual Miele quality.
This purchase replaced our old Miele vacuum that had lasted 17 years! This looks equally well made and, hopefully, it will last as long! My one criticism is that it is less powerful than our old one; but overall it is a well made and easy to use vacuum.
