Favourite household appliance!
I bought this a month ago & I am so happy that I did!
It was very easy to set up, is very light, easy to manoeuvre & the attachments are great for using under / on furniture, on stairs & in small spaces etc!
The battery lasts long enough for me to clean the whole house, porch, living room, kitchen, stairs, bathroom & 2 large bedrooms & it doesn’t take too long to charge the battery.
I am impressed with the overall performance, it picks up all dirt, dust, crumbs etc, the anti hair wrap is amazing, hair doesn’t get tangled up, it’s also very easy to empty.
It’s my new favourite appliance & I would definitely recommend getting a Dyson vac!

I regret my purchase.
I bought Dyson V8 two weeks ago. The first time I used it unfer the bed, it got scratched so easily that I could not believe it. The run time is never 40 minutes, much shorter and you need 5 hours to recharge. Suction power is weak unless you run in at max which causes the battery to die in 10 minutes. The dust bin does not let the dirt fall by itself, you need to grab the dust with your hand to take it out.

Great all round and reliable cordless vacuum
My Gran bought the first version of the v8 many years ago and it still runs well to this day. I was looking for a cordless vacuum to help keep on top of daily messes so I went for the v8 absolute as I knew what I was getting with the Dyson. It comes with many useful attachments including the updated motorbar cleaner head with hair removal vanes and the mini hair screw tool. I have been very happy with these as there’s minimal hair tangling now with the upgraded design. The battery life works for me and the cleaning performance is fantastic for its compact size. Overall I am very pleased with the v8 so far and i’m hoping it serves me as well as my Gran’s v8 continues to serve her after many years!

Does what it says on the tin
I bought this hoover 6 weeks ago always had a corded Dyson but as I have arthritis decided on a cordless one review said having to hold on button down while using was difficult another said battery charge didn’t last long enough to finishing all rooms another hoover was heavy to hold , I have arthritis and have not experienced any of these it is light holding the red button to use is effortless and I hoover 6 rooms (no stairs) 5 time on a full charge ,this model is ideal if you need a hoover that is light easy to use and has a suction as good if not slightly better than a corded one ps. I have a jack russel dog who molts badly and it picks up animal hair easily

What a great vacuum
I bought this vacuum about 3 weeks ago and am entirely happy with it. It’s a no nonsense piece of kit that does what it says on the tin. The suction is great and picks up all my dogs hair he seems to deposit everywhere. it adapts easily to a handheld and has 5 different accessories to accommodate all possibilities. Everything clicks in and out of this machine smoothly and easily, It manoeuvres well and is very lightweight without completely on performance. It doesn’t have a lot of tech, it’s basic in that respect but that suits me fine. I can just pick it up and trust it to do its job. The best vacuum I’ve ever had Ann’s I love it. I have literally nothing negative to say about this vacuum. Thank you Dyson!

Disappointed.
Disappointed.
I previously had a dyson cleaner and as I am unable to locate the receipt I can only guess it was probably in excess of 10 years. It still works like a dream with the exception that the battery doesn't last long now. As I was so impressed with it I thought I would buy a new one and keep the other one for short jobs. However as I used the new one, and it works well, the battery only lasted half way through what I wanted to do, which was not excessive, so I cannot express the disappointment I felt. I may invest in a new battery for the old one and have it fitted, but in view of the battery on the new one I am now not so sure. Anyway this is why I only rated 2 stars out of 5. Sorry but that's how I feel.

Improved design for easier usage
Works as it should, good suction and quieter operation than the older model.
The emptying feature is excellent, the wiper feature that cleans the inner filter solves the previous messy cleanup that nobody did.
The accessory tool lock is now manageable with one hand as the lock is now on the accessory not the cleaner body.
Prefer the older bin orientation as the new concentric type feels heavier as the weight of the bin is further away from the handle.
