I use it and leave the heating off so it saves me money. Great service from Dreamland. They sorted a delivery problem out as soon as I made them aware of it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from DREAMLAND HEATED THROW WITH ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT I have used the Dreamland Husky version of the throw for several years and am familiar with it's temperature settings, performance and maintenance. I purchased the black Dreamland heated throw to match present bedroom decoration. The black heated throw is thinner and not as comfortable as the husky version. It's heating element wire covers a sparser area within the throw. The edges of the throw are not heated. It's heating performance is less effective than it's faux husky version, even on the maximum setting. Unlike the husky version of the throw with it's safety label at the bottom, the black throw has an oversized safety label sticking out from the upper side, glaringly detracting from the throw's appearance. Being so thin, the throw's sparsely spaced heating elements are easily felt in use. In turn gives me less confidence of the black throw's durability. The overall length of the flex is shorter than the more luxurious husky version that I have used. Disappointingly, I have stored the new black thinner throw away because it does not live up to the performance of the husky version, specially in terms of heating ability. It arrived with the Dreamland's high standard of zipped bag storage and quality electric flex and control unit.

This is the third heated throw I've bought from this company - they are great for on the sofa so the central heating doesn't need to be on as much, and don’t seem to cost much to run. The black one I just bought is a slightly different material to the previous two and is a bit less soft to the touch - still happy with it though.
