The dial is a little hard to see than digital set. I really wanted a accurate set of scales and these have down the job

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Be Doubly Sure A fabulous purchase. Ordered online & it arrived promptly. I'd given up on my cheapo digital scales as it gave wonky readings. So to be doubly sure i bought a mechanical Salter Doctors Style scales. It is just perfect, beautiful shape, round top, slim sides with a very clear dial. Just like I'll be by Summer .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good solid scales, worth the money. Very solid piece of bathroom machinery and less temperamental than the digital versions. It looks nice but might be too large for a small space, but reassuringly sturdy and very easy to adjust needle to 0. If only it was as easy to adjust the weight it’s measuring. Easy to read for an analog scale, definitely worth the money.

I've used other scales before and the weight can change depending on where the scales are positioned around the bathroom. Sometimes up to 7lbs. With these scales from Salter, I've had none of these issues, no matter where I put them, I get the same weight.
