Fine and curly from
Not for me or my hair type
I received this as a Christmas present and I was over overjoyed!!! However my hair is not liking it one bit . I have fine naturally curly hair and I normally use a Dyson hairdryer and then straighten with a Dyson hair straightener and always achieve a flawless look. Sadly not happening with the Airstrait.my hair becomes fluffy and doesnt stay straight for long. Also the power pack is so big and heavy,for obvious reasons, so I could never take away with me for weekends or holidays. I’m really disappointed with the product. I’m sure others will be delighted but sadly not me. For me it seems to over promise and under deliver

Amazing product
I have wavy, rather unruly hair and I cannot for the life of me blow dry my hair. I also wouldn’t want to even if I could as hair dryers are bad for the hair condition. The Dyson air strait sounded ideal. I could dry my hair straight without damaging it. The main issue for me was the high price…but I bought one and I am delighted I did. It is an amazing product and does just what it says it does. I have had a keratin treatment before at the hair salon which was expensive but the Dyson is much better. I hate regular hair straighteners which damage the hair and make the hair weirdly straight. The Dyson is rather different - straight hair but thick and rather wonderful.

It dries. But is pretty pointless and awkward
I had this for Christmas, I have all the Dyson hair products. This one is by far the weakest and disappointing,
I mean, it does dry your hair, but it make it all flat and lifeless afterwards. It’s definitely not quicker than using the hair dryer and after a few mins gives you an achy hand where you have to keep it clamped in order for anything to come out of it. I have already gone back to my hair dryer and straightener. The problem is the roots, the first 2 inches of your hair are still wet when the rest is dry. For someone with straight hair anyway I wouldn’t reccomend, I would have returned if my husband hadn’t bought it 2 months before Xmas

Not As Described Poor Performer
I bought this item three weeks ago, it has not lived up to the product performance as described. I have a slight wave in my hair and these straighteners just did not do the job I like a very straight finish I am not able to achieve this with them I am using correct hair products for heat.
I had my friend try them and she said they were not easy to use or give desired look.
I have gone back to my leading brand hair straighteners for a good finish.
I wouldn’t recommend and very pricey which I wouldn’t mind if it done what it states and advertised as doing.
Certainly would not have bought them if I knew the result achieved using them.

It’s a game changer!
As a new mum, doing my hair becomes a chore. The Dyson Airstrait is a game changer for me. 2 in one literally, my hair is usually fine and long but this gives such a great shine and bouce at the roots. I honestly didnt expect it. I also suffer for hair loss in general, so the no heat component is an added bonus for me. No more expensive serum for me to make my hair shine. Thank you so much for creating an amazing product. Mums if you need to cut down time when it comes to your hair, this is the one for you!

Love the idea of using air, but disappointed…
I like the tool it is easy to use and does not damage hair. It is a little heavy and I find it difficult to work on the roots as the tool is quite bulky.I have naturally wavy curly hair and the finish does not last all day. Again due to the size of the tool I am unable to get perfectly straight roots as I normally do with traditional hot plate straighteners. Also my hair feels very flat, no shine to it after using this tool. I will continue practicing. I was in two minds about buying this tool or the Airwrap. Now I wish I had bought the Airwrap as it had more features and it seems that the straightening tool with the Airwrap perform similarly to these stand alone straighteners.

I love my airstraight
I wish I had purchased the air straight sooner as there had been mixed reviews for my hair type. I have Afro texture hair that would likely be classified between 3c/4a and it’s quick dense but fine. I have struggled with knots but ever since I’ve started using the air straight it has changed the game for me. I am still getting the hang of using it but the times that I have it’s not taken me nowhere near as long to get the perfect stretched look and I don’t have the breakage that I would with brushes and using the blow dryer. I’d recommend giving it a try if you’re in the market and have it to spend.
