Brilliant Machine but longevity is going to be an issue.
Two weeks in:
Love this machine, did a lot of research and it does the job (not cheap though for what it is). Slow juicers produce more juice, less froth, not noisy and so on. Don't go for the cheaper and larger loud juicer - it's tempting but it's not as good as a slow 'compact' juicer for many reasons.
The issue I have is that the attachments are misaligned now / don't attach flush (yet still locked in place) after two weeks of use and some fruit/veg bits are getting through to the juice compartment. This is supposed to be pure juice. Froth is starting to appear more, as are food bits. The plastic clear casings have lost their shine - looked a tad scratched (I only hand wash and do so immediately)........It is starting to look old already. SHAME. It would be 5 stars otherwise as the juicer is good. SAGE are high-end but this worries me!
TIP: Never put fresh turmeric in the juicer, it will stain it - I did it once and it took an age to clean. It's a no-no.
I do recommend it - juice is great and makes you feel great.
On the flip side, Harvey Norman always look after their customers in the event of issues. They are most helpful 99% of the time. Thankyou.
