Great, but......
Makes great coffee (better than our older Nesspresso machine), and the milk frother works really well-when it's CLEAN.
My major gripe with the machine is the milk wand needs a lot of care and attention to keep clean, beyond the so called daily self-clean the machine performs. We sometime need to de-tip ours and clean out with a brush (the tool provided is not up to the job) every 4-5 coffees!!
Frustratingly our machine had a major malfunction after just three months where a leak in the steam mechanism occurred. It has just come back from repair-so hopefully it'll hold out. But as it's broken once I'm skeptical. My 4 stars is based on the machine generally and is overlooking this (hopefully 1-off) malfunction.

Nice looking machine but unreliable..
We are now on our second one of these machines and the second one has again got the same fault. The frother does not work properly again and this took just under 2 weeks. The first machine lasted nearly a month.. this is not a cheap machine and I would have expected better from Sage.. I will be returning this machine tomorrow for a full refund and will be buying from a different manufacturer..

Great Machine, Perfect coffee, Easy to use
I have had my machine 12 months now and now I feel this is best time to write a review now rather than jumping to quick conclusions after just a few weeks.
Well it looks great and makes the kitchen look smart like all Sage products.
It is very easy to use by selecting what type of coffee you want and very easy to adjust the settings for each option. You can select how much froth you'd like on your milk, how hot you want and the strength of coffee by varying the water content per pod. Once you have your preferred settings you never really touch it again.
The steam wand is very easy to clean as it runs a clean cycle after every use which is nice to see and the catch tank in the base holds quite a bit of waste water until you need to empty it.
Some people may complain the wand needs manually cleaning quite often I would tend to disagree as I use my machine several times a day and I would say I would not really want to leave it much longer before been asked to clean it, after all this is milk it is sat in and I find by the time the machine asks you to clean it which is only a one minute job anyway, yes the 4 small holes need cleaning out with the tool but the rubber o-rings really want cleaning anyway as the self clean can't do them anyway. All in all the whole process of cleaning the tip with the tool and o-rings plus running the clean wand program takes between 1-2 minutes so we are not talking a big job.
Also the machine will ask you once every 4-6 months to descale the machine, this again is very easy step by step process on the digital display and only takes about 10 minutes but the more you do this the better the machine will perform and last in the long run.
Complaints I read about coffee not been hot enough is either their machine is faulty or not maintained properly or they are are wanting it at 100 degrees? After all coffee should not be that hot. I would not want my coffee any hotter personally for me.
For me this is a great machine my only complaint with this model is you cannot brew the coffee and steam the milk at the same time but they now have a new model that can do this but it comes at a premium price.
Would I buy another one after 12 months of use? Yes! All in all I love it and it is easy to use and looks great!

Faulty
Had this machine for 3 months went to descale then was stuck in descale mode had to send to Nespresso to repair. Was return had a new pump fitted then not got water so sent back and another new pump fitted still not heating up.As I bought it from another retailer they were unable to replace. I have had to contact the retailer who are giving me a refund once I send it back. For a machine of this price it’s ridiculous that it is faulty after 3 months and after 2 new pumps. Read forums common fault with descale and heating up. Put me off buying another machine!

Nozzle keep blocking
We’ve had a Creatista Plus for over 3 years and had to have it replaced because the steam wand stopped heating and frothing and we always had an issue with the steam nozzle getting blocked. We descale and clean the nozzle more than is recommended and the new machine is doing exactly the same so it’s a design flaw not just a one off problem. Once we clean the nozzle, we can make 1 or 2 lattes and then the wand will stop mid-way and say nozzle needs cleaning and other times it can make 10+ lattes without needing cleaning so I don't understand why we have periods of always having to clean the nozzle and then it can be a week before it needs cleaning again. we use semi-skimmed milk and have tried filtered and unfiltered water but that makes no difference. we can have the same issue after descaling so don't think this is the issue. Sage/Nespresso are you investigating this issue as I see many people have the same problem?

Great Nespresso machine
This is a hugely stylish and functional Nespresso machine. It looks great in my kitchen and produces great tasting coffee every time. There seems to be a lot of reviews about the coffee not being hot enough and the steam wand getting clogged up, after using this machine daily for the last year, the coffee is definitely hot enough and the milk temperature can be adjusted to your taste. Coffee isn't supposed to be drunk boiling so I'm not sure what others are expecting. I wipe the steam wand thoroughly after each use and I only get the matching asking me to clean it with the tool every couple of months. Hardly a massive difficulty as the tool is included too.
Overall a great coffee machine, makes coffee shop standard coffee every time and plus the steam wand can be used to make great hot chocolates!

Steam Wand is really poor
After using this machine for three months, the steam wand is really irritating. It forever needs cleaning and unpicking. Its a lovely idea but i would not recommend buying this machine, or buy a Nespresso Aeroccino. At the price i expected better.

Great machine
I bought this machine a couple of months ago and so am just getting familiar with the barista process. No problems as yet or anticipated since the design is simple and effective. I like the amount of water it holds and the fact that it warns you when it’s getting low. Also, it copes with all types of capsule well so you haven’t got to spend loads on genuine nespresso. The milk wand works well( remember to keep it clean) and provides milk of varying temperature and froth. Basically, it looks good and does the job well. A good purchase !
