The anchor can be raised or lowered by cranking the handle.

Perfect toy to unlock hours of imaginative play!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely love this water play table. It’s super durable and built to last and has so many different features. My daughter absolutely loved pouring water in the crows nest to make the water cascade over the spinners and create a current in the base, moving the shark, boats and life ring around. She thought making the ships mate walk the plant was hilarious and really enjoyed putting the little characters down the slide and in the boats and life ring. She spent ages shooting the boat with the cannon to get it to move around the base and overall we just thought it was the perfect outdoor toy. It was really easy to put together too!

Slightly Disappointing Toy
Great toy in theory but unfortunately poorly thought out design and manufacture.
It’s one thing having to screw things together but rather annoying that we have to drill our own screw holes, at awkward angles around the moulded shape of the item, before screwing the legs on. We feel that it is an unforgivable design and manufacture fault that the item comes without predrilled screw holes. Also, the plug doesn’t fit very well and therefore leaks, the Cannon needs attention each time it is used - either it comes apart, doesn’t work or has a pathetic ‘jet’ of water and the spinners float rather than spin water.
However, our grandson does love to play with the water, boats, pirates, etc.
Come on Little Tikes, please redesign certain aspects of what could be a great toy.
Currently I don’t think I would recommend this item to a friend as there are too many
niggly design faults.

Little Tikes are the best.
I bought this for my grandchildren as I know how well made and long lasting little tikes toys are. It comes with extra toys to play in the sand/ water with and has already had lots of use. I know it can be left out in all weathers and look the same as when I purchased it. The only thing I would change is adjustable legs for when the children grow as all age children enjoy water and sand play.

My family had this for their grandkids in Australia - my little boy loved it when we visited but had been unable to find it here - UK - so jumped when I saw it on here in the same. Little tricky to put together and the canon is a bit temperamental but doesn’t make a difference to my little boy. He’s 3 and a half and loves playing pirates and making waves. Brilliant.

Such good fun!
Bought this for my little boys 2nd birthday and he absolutely loves it! It's really well made, didn't take too long to put together and has some great features. Bright, colourful and fun...just what I was looking for. Spent time researching different water tables and this one seemed the best option, really pleased with my purchase.

Great Product
My 15 month grandson loves the pirate water play product. It's a good height for him and theres lots of features to play with. The only thing wrong with it is the large sail. It just falls off all the time. It needs a more secure attachment. I've just taken it off and put it in a cupboard, and the product is still fun without it.

Great play value
This was purchased for my 2 year old grandson ...only just built it today. Still struggling with the plug and I can't understand why it wasn't put in the base already?? Also there is a sharp bit that actually caught my hand as I was building it..hope he doesn't hurt himself. However the item overall is well worth the money.

I've now bought 2 of these ships the first one I took to grandchildrens home during lock down so the had something to play with alongside all the other brilliant Little Tikes toys they have.
