Brother LS14S Sewing Machine
The Brother LS14S Manual Stitch Sewing Machine helps you get creative.
The LS14S is a traditional metal chassis sewing machine with 14 stitches and including a 4 step button hole. Perfect for dress making and everyday household sewing.
The LS14S has a jam proof drop in bobbin which shows how much bobbin thread is left. The LED lighting system means that thread colours are not distorted. A zipper foot comes included in the box.
Please note only plastic bobbins should be used in this machine. The use of metal bobbins will affect stitch quality and in some cases could damage the machine and invalidate the warranty.

Great sewing machine. Exactly what I was looking for to begin my sewing journey without worrying I'll need to upgrade anytime soon. Easy to use, manual very helpful and includes DVD for people who prefer visual tutorials. Never used a sewing machine in my life and 2 weeks later I'm successfully tailoring my own clothes!
Great price, super quick delivery, well packed for delivery, so no worries about getting damaged in transit!

More plastic than I expected
Haven't used the machine much yet but my sewing teacher thinks it looks to be an ok mahine for a starter machine.
The bobbin cover plate is plastic and looks like that any bit of rushing might break its attachments.
The spool pin is plastic also and care needs to be taken that it is lowered always when transporting the machine, as can also break easily. This happened to a fellow student.
