Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ample space Received the fridge freezer from samsung last weekend for a product review. The fridge and freezer has plenty of storage space for all your family food. The fridge freezer was quick and easy to set up and to get to the correct temperature. The water dispenser is easy to fill and the ice cube tray is excellent with the twist draw to drop icecubes in to the storage draw. I love the the folding shelf in the fridge as it provides extra storage space for larger items and the bottle rack which saves you space to place othe food products on the shelf below. The door trays are large and hold plenty of food products.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from WARNING! I so wanted this fridge freezer I designed my new extension/utility room around leaving a 700mm space. Finally took delivery and it in slotted perfectly! Until trying to open the doors...they swing outwards and buried in the user manual it says 50mm clearance required! Being up against a wall this was a major issue. However no presale information warns buyers of this fact! The answer for me was to reverse the doors to hinge the other way. Not ideal as the grab handles are recessed on the left edges. However the user quite explains in detail how to do it so set to work. It's a little complicated. Unfortunately I hit a problem as no bolt holes are provided for the top hinge which may be under the metal skin but wasn't prepared to start hunting for them with a drill... Samsung Customer support were OK, but currently waiting to hear back. Basically want an engineer to come and rectify the problem. Fingers crossed its not too long as my chicken legs are defrosting....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fridge freezer I received this refrigerator from Samsung for product testing purposes. i am very pleased with the product and list below the points I have made. Positives - the lighting inside the fridge is really good with lights on both sides which illuminate the whole fridge. - the salad drawer is clear so you can easily see the contents inside. - It beeps if the fridge door is left open too long. -the sliding half shelf is very useful, as you can slide it back to give you room for taller items. - the outside finish on the fridge is good as it doesn't show fingerprints. - the ice cube maker inside the freezer is great. Once frozen, you turn the handle and the ice cubes drop into the ice tray below. - the size of the fridge & freezer are of a good size. - the drawers inside the freezer seem quite sturdy, compared to other brands we have had, where the drawer fronts seem to break very easily. i don't have any negatives but the following two points I think would be useful. - the water container could be bigger and maybe it would be nice to have the option of a container double the size and leave out the small shelf above. - it would be good for the freezer to beep if the door is left open for too long. I have lost freezer food before where someone has not completely shut the door. Overall I am very pleased with the Fridge freezer, as the product seems to be of a high quality and I would be more than happy to recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bigger than it appears. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this fridge from Samsung for product testing purposes. The Samsung fridge freezer looks very smart, with clean lines and a handy LED screen that shows the temperature along with controls to change it. The front of the fridge door houses a water cooler that is not connected to the mains. It has a fairly large receptacle for water that is easy to lift in and out of the fridge in order to fill it. The fridge is very roomy; it has four large shelves, one of which is sliding, allowing you to fit taller items in. It has more than enough room to fit our weekly shopping items in. It has a large salad crisper at the bottom which fits in all our veg and salad items without squashing them. There is plenty of room in the door for milk cartons, plus three small and one large compartments for the storage of eggs, jars and bottles. The only criticism I have of this is that the fronts of the compartments are not high enough to stop taller articles from falling out, which is a shame. It has an alarm if the door is left open for too long, but this is quite quiet and can only be heard when you are near the fridge freezer. The freezer has three large drawers and at the top there is a smaller drawer which is next to a handy ice cube tray; although it comes with an extra shelf if you do not require this feature. The drawers are deep and wide and we have found there is plenty of space to store all our frozen foods. I would totally recommend this Samsung fridge freezer. It is very quiet and is a welcome addition to our kitchen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent fridge freezer, surprisingly spacious I received this refrigerator from Samsung for product testing purposes. There are many features of this fridge freezer that pleasantly surprised us, we are really pleased with this product. I'll try to list my thoughts around the fridge freezer in no particular order. Visually the fridge freezer has a very smart appearance, with crisp stainless steel lines, and it has a real quality appearance. The clever design inside the fridge really maximises the use of the space. For example the water storage compartment inside the door takes up surprisingly little room, leaving a large amount of storage space inside the door. It's perfectly possible to fit five or six standard 2 litre pop bottles on the bottom rack inside the door, alongside all the other door compartments. If extra space is needed in the door the water compartment can be used for food storage. The water dispenser compartment holds over 2 litres and is extremely simple to remove and reattach after refilling. I really liked the foldaway shelf - this is very easy to slide the front half of the shelf under the back half, to allow for flexible space for larger items. As you can see in one of my photos you can easily store additional tall pop bottles in this extra space, for example. The LED lighting (which is crisp and bright) comes from strips which are fitted flush down each side of the fridge interior - clearly illuminating every shelf brightly, and without any space being taken up from the fridge interior like the old style light bulbs used to. The controls on the front of the fridge are clear and simple. The audible alarm can be turned off if required, and the fridge and freezer temperatures can be adjusted in one degree increments. The temperatures are displayed on an LED display whenever the fridge door is open and stay on display for a few seconds after the door is closed - one nice little touch is that they indicate the 'set' temperature for a few seconds, then the 'actual' temperature for a few seconds should this be any different. There is also a useful holiday mode to save energy when you are away - keeping the freezer running but cutting the fridge consumption right down if there is no fresh food left in there while you are away. The freezer compartment, in a similar manner to the fridge, really maximises the use of the available space through clever design and no wasted space. The second drawer up can easily hold 16 normal sized ready meals for example. Should additional space be required the small drawer top right can be removed without affecting freezer performance. I find I can fit significantly more food in this freezer than my previous model, despite the exterior dimensions being similar. The ice cube maker is a nice touch and works well, a simple twist drops the ice cubes into the storage drawer under the ice cube racks. I love that this fridge freezer is A++ on energy, and will use 40% less electric than my old fridge freezer which was A rated. One thing that also surprised me with this fridge freezer is how quiet it is - it really is very quiet. A nice touch while unpacking the shelves was that a spare glass shelf is provided should this ever be needed. All in all I honestly can't find fault with this fridge freezer. It really is an excellent, smart choice and I am very happy with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprisingly Spacious! We received this refrigerator from Samsung for product testing purposes. This is an honest and unbiased review, based on our experiences of using the fridge for over a week. We already had a good fridge, a 2 door American style, which we were happy with, but when the opportunity to review this arose we agreed. Initially we were surprised by how much smaller it was than our other fridge. It's a good 20cm shorter, and about 5cm shallower. We struggled to move out our old fridge, but the Samsung slid in easily. It really helped having all the back enclosed - no refrigeration metal or pipework shows at the back, and it reduces the depth significantly. Despite it being smaller than our other fridge, it is significantly roomier inside, and much easier to fit all our food. Our old fridge was absolutely full after a 'big shop', and the Samsung swallowed it all up with a shelf to spare in the fridge compartment, and half a shelf in the freezer. Adjusting the temperature is really easy, and there is a handy display on the front of the door, which shows the set temp, and the current inside temp if the door has been open a while. There is also a chime if the door has not been closed properly, or left open too long, although we found it to be too quiet, and could only hear it if we were still in the kitchen. The lighting in the fridge is great - it gives a bright, clean, airy feeling. It comes from two lighting strips in front of the shelves, so it can’t be blocked by items on fully stocked shelves. One of the best features in the fridge is the sliding shelf. It allows larger items to be accommodated without completely removing a shelf. Speaking about removing shelves, the fridge also comes with an extra one for the freezer incase you want the extra space afforded by removing the ice cube maker tray. Something that is in constant use in our house is the drink dispenser. It holds a little over 2L of water, and is fairly quick to chill it. We found it a little fiddly to remove and refill while the shelf above it in the door is in place, and you have to be very careful to align it properly or you catch the dispenser at the bottom and end up with water all over the floor. We found the best way to refill it was to remove the shelf above, and the fill cap in the reservoir, and then use a jug to fill it while in place. Then every few days we can remove it to wash it and clean it properly. It’s not all perfect though. There are a couple of things that I would prefer done differently:- The shelves in the door are just not deep enough. We’ve always stored jars and sauces in the fridge doors, but these are so shallow that anything bigger than, say, a jar of mustard will fall out as soon as you open the door - as we found with a jar of Olives and an over-zealous tug on the door… There could do to be more options for shelf adjustment, both within the door, and the main body of the fridge - We buy the larger bottles of sauce, and on our previous fridge they fitted on the top shelf fine. In this one they are about 5mm too tall. They don’t lay flat easily, so the only way to accommodate them is with the foldable shelf retracted. The door open chime is not loud enough, and is hard to hear unless you are fairly close to the fridge already. The opening of the doors is reversible. It comes set up with the hinges on the right. We would prefer it to open to the left. Although comprehensive instructions are provided for this, there is only a (hidden) handle on the Left hand side of the door. This would make it more difficult to open from the right hand side, so we’ve had to leave it as it is. None of these is a major problem, and can be worked around with some changes to the way we store things etc. however it would just be nice to have those options. Overall, we are very impressed with the fridge freezer and would recommend it to others.

The freezer comes with an additional glass shelf so the top drawer and ice maker can be removed if more space is required.build quality is excellent.and the refrigerator runs really quiet.the ice maker is a nice feature an we'll thought out.

The product does exactly as I was looking for . Frost free , LED lights good storage space . The feature for water is very handy as you don’t need plumbing . The additional space for the ice cubes is good as I previous had Ice making facility and did not see this in previous styles as I shopped around . The Samsung is sleek and I love the hidden handle feature . Looks very well as a stand alone in the kitchen . Freezer has easy roller drawers and is decent size to hold products . Very easy to install and I am delighted with the purchase . This is a quality product and I would recommend this to family and friends .
