Disappointed with number of boxes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace my old Bosch Fridge Freezer (KGU31125). Although I'm generally pleased with this new version, I'm not happy with the large boxes for the veg in the fridge section, and the middle box in the freezer section. It makes finding food in the boxes really hard, especially when they are heavy. I would have far preferred the old style of two veg boxes and four freezer boxes. The top box sides in the freezer slopes at the back to accommodate what I think is the mechanics of the fridge, but it means I cannot put as much in there as I would like. Although I'm going to have to live with it, I will not be going for this style in future.

So far, so good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Machine looks smart. I am concerned that the very deep middle drawer in,the freezer will make finding things difficult and result in the door being open for longer than I would like. Disappointed there is no flash freezing tray. The freezer isn't big enough (20 litres smaller than my old machine) and I have had to buy another small one for overflow. The fridge will take some getting used to as it is coldest at the top. The tall bottle shelf at the bottom of the door is not high enough at the front and fast reflexes were all that saved bottles falling out. I will,have to find some other use for it.

50/50 Fridge-Freezer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely delighted with this model. Pleased I went for a 50/50 split so I have a larger freezer than previously in the kitchen. The interior is so well designed I seem to have much more room than my previous larger fridge. Plenty of space in the doors and adjustable LED lit shelving in the fridge makes it easy to see everything. I most appreciate the large Multibox which has plenty of room for fruit and veg and keeps things fresh for much longer than any other fridges I have used. Three drawers in the freezer easy to lift out, middle drawer being much deeper than the other two gives plenty of storage for awkwardly shaped items. I would highly recommend this product.

Don’t waste your money
Brought this middle of last year, not even a year old and on three occasions we have been away and come home to find the whole unit is off and everything wasted. Initially thought that the power had tripped, upon checking it hadn't. This has happened again on our return today so I shall be taking the defrosted contents to where I purchased it as it is still under a year old and will be fully expecting to be reimbursed for not only the wasted food but also for the piece of junk fridge freezer. I expected more from Bosch as all our appliances are Bosch and have been very good however in light of such a poor quality fridge freezer perhaps will have to reconsider our choices in future.
All I can say it is not been a happy new year with Bosch.
Don't buy unless you're happy to throw money away regularly.

Brilliant
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After having my new fridge/freezer for a couple of months now, I simply could not be happier.
While it is the same size as the one it replaced (not Bosch), it seem to have a much larger capacity and keep food fresher for longer.
I love that the freezer is frost free (no annoying ice buildup) and the large capacity drawers hold more than enough.
Its worth reading the manual as it give some very helpful information about the different zones of the fridge and the freezer and what is best kept on which shelf/drawer.
A little more expensive than other brands but weel worth the small extra cost.

Spacious Fridge .Stylish and Functional.
We purchased this Fridge Freezer for the Brand name and the size.The Fridge is compartment is large and has a good size vedgetabke tray.The controls are easy to manage and it works well temperature wise.The Freezer is a reasonable size for our needs and has a deep 2nd drawer which works well for us.The Freezer controls are easy to manage and simple to use plus the Alarm function is great .The plain simple lines of the exterior are just right for a modern kitchen.It is also frost free which is great.We are very pleased with it so far and it is not noisy.One thing that I do question is the heat outside the fridge when the motor is running.

Very pleased with this fridge-freezer
Only had it for a week, but so far so good. It's very quiet in operation, has a good amount of storage space, and has the look and feel of a quality appliance. I'm still experimenting with the fridge compartment temperature control - on the recommened position things are if anything a bit too cold (my Lurpak spreadable is not exactly spreadable) so I've turned it down which should sort that out. Having one deep freezer drawer gives me no problems in the way it seems to have done for other reviewers. The one thing I'd query is the energy rating - it's claimed to be A++ yet a sticker that came with the appliance says it's band E.

Not perfect!
This replaced a 15 year old fridge freezer and obviously it's a great improvement. Very quiet and a lot of space, particularly in the fridge. Also the light is now at the front of the fridge which is a really good idea - wonder why some brands still place the light at the back?! I do have a couple of issues, however. Firstly there is no bottle rack and no compatible bottle rack available which is a bit disappointing. Also the temperature control in the fridge does not give any degree readings , so I've had to buy a fridge thermometer. (Notice other reviews mention this). Am pleased with my purchase with those two minus points!
