Create several large surfaces to cook on with the Multiple Bridge Function in the AEG induction hob. Two zones can be paired at the touch of a button, providing a single bridge for cooking. By automatically aligning to share both temperature and time settings, it's optimised for using large pots and pans at once.
The Adaptable Surface for Every Pan
The Maxisense induction hob has self sizing cooking zones. That means each zone detects the sizes and shapes of the pans using, however large or small, and sends immediate heat to fit their bases exactly. So you have complete control, and the hob responds just the way you need it to.
Hob2Hood, Cook without Distractions
This hob has Hob2Hood, a useful feature that automatically controls your cooker hood and lights. It means you get distracted by trying to regulate the fan when at crucial cooking moments, you can simply concentrate on getting your dish right. But if rather adjust the fan speed yourself, there are manual controls on the hob too.

Zone in with Intuitive controls
By turning the hob on and placing a pan down, the ActiveTouch automatically lights up, intuitively showing which zone to use. Once selected, the temperature lights up in red, while the other available options remain white. Backlit LED lights also indicate where cookware is positioned. Providing complete control when cooking.
Clean as You Cook
Because the surface around the pans stays cool as you cook, you can get rid of spills as you go along. Nothing gets burnt on, and there nowhere for dirt to hide. So its easy to keep the hob area looking pristine even while youre still cooking.
Intense Rapid Heat
No more waiting around for pots to boil. The Powerboost button gives you an instant burst of heat that boils water in under 90 seconds thats even faster than an electric kettle. Its perfect for tasks like boiling potatoes, and other quick cooking jobs too, like searing meat.

Versatile High Performance Hob
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All of the features of this hob took a lot of getting used to, but once mastered, the hob became easy to use and the controls easy to understand and operate. The automatic link to our (AEG) extractor fan is very useful. There are two complications that buyers should be aware of: when using three or more positions on the hob simultaneously you may experience the power limiting function on one or more positions, (staggering startups cures this power limiting safety function); and the second minor issue is that the touch power controls for each of the hob positions don't work too well if your finger tips are wet or greasy!

Disappointed
My hob was installed just before Christmas (22) and broke down just after . Having to wait 3 weeks for a technician ( coming this week ). In the meantime I had to buy an electric camping ring to cook on. I feel thats too long to wait. I’ve always rated AEG as good, solid quality product, it’s just the backup when there’s a problem the wait is too long.

Absolutely rubbish
Looks amazing, but doesn't live up to the hype, power boost takes 6-8 minute's before it boils, makes annoying humming sound if heat is above 5 setting even with Aeg pots and pans, timer function doesn't turn off power to hob once finished as manual said it would. I'd be better off cooking over an open flame like a caveman!! Avoid Avoid Avoid!!!

Pleasantly surprised.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We chose the hob as a replacement for a similar induction hob which had failed after 5 years. It proved to be a much better product even through we paid about the same for the old one. The controls operate better and are easier to set and maintain heat levels.
