Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely to use, albeit a bit loud. Got this recently and I am very much enjoying it. It's nice and responsive, the lighting is vivid without being distracting, and the keys themselves feel nice to the touch. Smooth but not slippery. If you're a heavy typist like I am then I'd recommend it for home use over office use. I type with a fair amount of force myself and when I hit the spacebar it has a ring to it like a typewriter. I love it, but might be distracting in a group setting. Light typists should be just fine using it in an office though, it responds very nicely to a light touch. The associated lighting software was also very easy to set-up and has several very attractive presets if you don't want to get too granular with it. The baseplate doesn't seem easy to scratch. The black finish appears to be the metal itself, not just a paint layer. I have accidentally nicked it with a scalpel and left no mark. The keycaps themselves remove easily enough for cleaning. I'd still recommend using a keycap puller (not included in the box) over your hands though.
