Sony Alpha A7 III with 28–70mm Lens – Great for Beginners
I am a beginner in photography, and the Sony Alpha A7 III with the 28–70mm lens has been a smooth and enjoyable experience for me. The camera is easy to use, feels solid, and produces really nice image quality even when you’re just starting out. The controls are intuitive, and I found it comfortable to learn and practice with.
My shopping experience at Harvey Norman was also very good. The staff were friendly, helpful, and patient, which made the buying process easy and stress-free. They answered my questions clearly and made me feel confident about my purchase.
Overall, I’m very happy with both the camera and the service. I would definitely recommend this camera to beginners and anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality mirrorless camera.

A well engineered camera
The camera will produce excellent results out of the box. Fast autofocus and excellent metering coupled with fine build quality produces every thing you need to create your images. For best results you will need to navigate through a complex menu system and this is the only aspect of the camera that Sony needs to improve. I would highly recommend the camera to any photographer.

Outstanding!
5 stars, what took me so long to buy this camera.. everything about it feels so right, cinematic, deep and meaningful shots. I can’t describe it in words, I normally am a die hard fan of another brand beginning with an F but I can’t believe I love this even more! Worth every penny

Banding removed the shine of a new camera
Moved up from the A7 to the A7iii, but taking photos and video for the first time on the A7iii I encountered the banding issue, it removed the shine of a new camera straight away. Will have to spend time learning how to combat this and get to grips with the camera.

Delivers (almost) exactly what's promised
I use the camera for stills and video work. I'm rating 5* because despite some quirks that require workarounds, the end products I get are excellent and both me and my clients are very happy. Beautiful high quality stills, amazing autofocus, great 4k video (despite the 8 bit in-camera) and suprisingly sharp 120fps HD. Overall a jaw-dropping package.
The unpleasant surprise was the limitations when sending an HDMI signal out to an external monitor while recording video. Specifically, shooting 4K (when it's wise to use a larger external screen for focus etc.) the HDMI will not send the camera's display info (exposure metering, zebras, other settings info) to the external monitor - just clean picture. These features do remain displayed on the screen on the back of the camera, but they disappear when you press record, meaning you no live updates of things like your exposure metering at all while turning over on takes with changing conditions.
But overall for the price and features this is still a 5* product without a doubt.

Greatly exceeded expectations!
I heard so many good this about this camera and I was sure it was too good to be true. I'm glad I was wrong! This camera completely blew me away. Fantastic camera and a surprisingly good kit lens.

Great Camera
haven't had too much time with it yet but a huge step up over the Mark 1 which I have had since it was launched. Delighted with the improvements. Nothing bad to say about it so far.
