How Does Thermal Printing Work?

The whole process happens in a flash and requires neither ink nor toner – just thermal paper and heat. This makes thermal printing clean, simple, and environmentally friendly.

• Thermosensitive paper: The InstantFUN uses special paper that contains a chemical layer that reacts to heat.
• Heat instead of ink: The camera's print head contains small heating elements. These selectively heat specific areas on the paper.
• Black and white image: The heated areas on the paper turn black, the unheated areas remain white. This is how the image is created.

External storage - requirements

• MicroSD cards up to 32 GB in size, U3 Class 10 cards or faster (not included)

Usage:

NOTES Recording times vary depending on the resolution.

MicroSD cards with a capacity greater than 32GB are often formatted with the "exFAT" file system at the factory. Therefore, as generally recommended in the manual, it is necessary to format the card in the camera. To do this, simply open the "Settings" menu, navigate to "Format card", and execute the action. Afterwards, the card can be used normally.
