I bought these as an alternative to in ear headphones that never sit right in my ears and over ears that get to hot in summer. I use these for podcasts and audio books and find the sound superb, incredibly comfortable and a surprisingly secure fit. I also love the fact that you can hear what's going on around you, which hasn't impacted the listening experience for me, which allows for awareness when walking.
