Perfect portable Sony radio
I purchased this Sony radio last Sunday during the Black Friday Event. The salesman was superb! He demonstrated the unit and I have to say that I am thrilled and delighted with the Harvey Norman shopping experience. Exemplary actually! I wouldn't shop anywhere else for my electrical goods. Harvey Norman are top of my list. Period!

Does exactly what it says on the tin
This is a robust, simple, easy to use radio. I bought it after the Storm Eowyn power cut…. Wanted a battery operated radio for the next power cut(!). You can plug it also if you prefer. I’ve always found the Sony brand to be reliable and straightforward. This radio is perfect and would also be good for older people - the dial is very readable. Just a good simple product.

Great old style radio
I was looking for a radio that was just that. Its a radio with tuning and volume control and nothing else, so if you are looking for Bluetooth connectivity or dab this isn't for you. But if you want an old fashioned radio then this is it. Great sound. Highly recommended.

Great for the Sensory Impaired
I got this radio for an Intellectually Impaired young man who likes music. The last Sony digital radio didn't last long before it was dropped to the floor out of frustration - it simply had too many buttons. This radio is great - there is only one sliding switch and two knobs, easy to use. Can't go wrong. Easy enough to tune into a station, even for him. The red light shows when a station is tuned. Big speaker means good sound quality. Can use it with the aerial down and hopefully he can plug in his earphones too. A great choice for the sensory or cognitively impaired and the elderly too.
