Good choice for small portable radio
Great radio. Good size, decent sound, works well so far and is ideal for taking out and about, gardening, walking, or anywhere you want a small portable radio. Only complaint; it would be helpful in the description to please specify what size of battery this radio requires.

Pocket size portable
FM performance is great for a radio of this type with decent selectivity and great sensitivity.
AM performance is great, can get some semi distant stations although there is sometimes a repetitive pop noise, this does not happen on local/semi local stations it works great for these.
Sound quality through the built in speaker is great when handheld as intended.
Headphone output is decent, it is mono output.
The power indicator is a great feature and the tuning led is a nice diffused green light.
The feet could be improved as the radio isn't super stable and wants to fall back.

Great little radio
Great little radio - I actually get clearer reception on this than I do on DAB. I use it whilst doing up the house and obviously it isn't a full and rich hi-fi sound, but it is very clear. Delighted. It's tiny as well which is great because I can't stand clutter.

Just what I was looking for
Just what I was looking for - a small battery-powered radio that fits in my hand and reminds me of the transistor radios of my youth. It’s basic, and where I live doesn’t pull in a lot of FM stations, but it does what I hoped it would do, giving me the feeling of portable music from my memories as a child. If it had also included an earphone and a case, it would have been exactly as I remember old transistor radios.

No LW coverage
A nice radio, decent battery life and decent performance..... BUT discontinuing LW coverage is a huge let down for me.
R4 on FM (and DAB) isn't available everywhere in UK, LW is the only way to get a half-decent signal.

Oh happy man!
If you’re looking for a small, lightweight, portable radio with the simplest of controls, then this is for you. If you want to listen to Test Match Special while working in the garden, this is definitely for you. Reception of Radio 4 medium wave on this little radio is excellent here. In fact it’s much better than on our solar powered DAB radio. The little man is extremely happy with it!
