Small but Powerful

It features an adjustable carry strap, which is quite convenient for transporting the speaker to various locations. Additionally, its IP67 rating ensures it is waterproof and dustproof, ideal for outdoor activities such as camping or poolside parties. The speaker is also shockproof, adding to its durability. The only drawback is its relatively short battery life; a longer battery duration would make it an impeccable speaker.

Outside or inside, this portable speaker is great.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Outside or inside, this portable speaker is just the job. I've used it outside for the patio and caravan settings and also to keep the radio music flowing whilst on my DIY projects.
It feels tough enough to keep going in any environment and the sound quality is a great boost to my otherwise humble DAB radio.
It has a decent battery life and is easy to charge via the USB cable supplied.
The only problem I have had to date is that I can't get it to connect to my Android phone via Bluetooth but that's probably a 'phone/me issue as it pairs easily with other devices.
Overall, great sound from a small unit that is easy to transport and has good conectivity

Good Bluetooth speaker
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having tried the ult speaker indoors and outdoors I feel it is of very good quality.The sound is of good quality I like it with the ult button pressed it gives it a better sound without its a little lack lustre I don’t like the noise it makes when turning ult on or off but you a sound when you do change it ,it sounds good even at high volume.Battery life is about what you would expect of a quality product being about 12 hours a bit less with ult button pressed ,Build quality is what you come to expect of Sony visually pleasing to the eye but portability is its key to sun up ult field 1 in my opinion for its price it’s a decent quality product rugged and dust and water resistant.

Fun day
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful from the off,
it made the first track I played fill the space with deep bass and crisp tweets. It's amazing what sound it gives off for such a compact speaker.
Definitely be recommending this one to my friends and family.
We had a great day out not long ago on dartmoor with the family, football, frizbee and a nice picnic. The speaker was on nonstop and it still 50% battery left at the end of the day. Can't fault it really. 10 out of 10.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using my Sony wireless speaker ULT FIELD 1 every day for 2 weeks and extremely impressed with the sturdy build quality, it is exceptionally well made. The sound quality even without using the ULT boost is excellent and with the ULT boost even better.
The square cylindrical shape is good as it stops the speaker rolling, it is very stable. Being waterproof makes it ideal for outdoor use and the volume and performance are perfectly adequate for outdoor use. A useful carry strap is attached.
The 12 hour battery life is a bonus and also recharging is reasonably quick. All controls are clearly marked and easy to use.
The price is very competitive, excellent value.

This speaker is amazing, loud and clear and adjustable bass on the speaker and adjustable EQ in the app, better than my previous srs Sony speakers and previous boss speaker!

Wow!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this speaker for a little while now and wanted to wait before giving a knee-jerk review (which would have been a simple Wow! Just Wow!).
I've now managed to use it in a variety of environments, including camping, an outside party and my flat (where it's now replaced my stereo for sound and clarity).
Being dust and water resistant, as well as being a decent size for packing and portability, it was a perfect companion on my camping trip where it performed admirably both inside the tent on a lower volume, but could also be heard perfectly at a louder volume some distance from the tent (see photos). It also goes without saying that the 12 hour battery life was perfect for the trip (although would have been easy to recharge via the USB-C port on the back.
I prefer to feel the bass as well as hear it so the ULT button was a perfect addition as it activates a deeper bass without losing any clarity of sound.
All in all this is now my go to portable speaker - versatile enough to perform well in all environments that I've tried, a great sound and all at an incredible price - Sony, you've pulled it out the hat yet again!

Ultimate Bass Head Portable Speaker
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a music lover who loves spending time outdoors, the Sony ULT Field 1 has become my favorite companion. It's small and light enough to just grab and go, which is perfect for hikes or camping trips. But don't let its size fool you - the sound is amazing! The ULT Button adds some serious bass boost, which is perfect for creating that party atmosphere outdoors.
Even when I'm not using the ULT Button, the sound quality is still great. It's clear and balanced, and I love that I can use the equalizer app to tailor the sound to my preferences. Plus, the fact that it's weatherproof gives me peace of mind - no more worrying about getting it caught in a downpour.
Another unexpected perk is the clear call quality. The built-in speakerphone is surprisingly good, even when I'm using it outdoors. Overall, I'm super impressed with the Sony ULT Field 1. It's a fantastic speaker for anyone who loves adventure and great sound.
