I’m Shocked
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a shock, I cannot believe the sound quality of this little Bluetooth speaker, there is absolutely no distortion even when on max volume, I cannot believe the base on this little thing, It’s amazing. My son phoned me whilst I was listening to some music and I answered through this little unit and it was crystal clear, my son thought I was directly speaking into my phone and when I said that it was through the speaker he couldn't believe it. Ive added a picture to show the size of it, it even fits into a cup holder in the car.

Pocket speaker producing a mighty punch
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sony SRS-XB100 is a small pocket speaker that produces crisp and clear sounds. Thanks to the strap added to this device it is easily portable and can be attached to a number of items such as clothing and bags. Granted while mobile the bass isn't as loud as you want it but as soon as you put it down on a surface, the bass drops. Very impressed with the quality of bass provided on this device. When I compared it with its older cousin the SRS-XB30 there was immediate differences you could hear in sound quality and bass. I like it's durability and battery life too. I would definitely recommend this device for newcomers to the world of wireless speakers as a starting product.

Purchased my second one of these, as compact, powerful and neat in design. The strap also allows for traveling and charging USC cable also provided. Played a variety of music to get a 'feel' for the sound and quite powerful for such a small device. When turned on it makes a quick tune to let you know its on. Controls are easy to use, maybe a customer who uses braillie would be better to confirm if the raised buttons are workable for them. Cool and good concept, would have liked other colours to chose from like the earlier models, but thats hust me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The XB100 is packaged in all paper and no plastics which is a big plus but how does it perform?
Pros:
* It’s small and light.
* It’s quick and easy to charge.
* Bluetooth connectivity on my phone is easy and no issues found.
* The sound is quite remarkable I have to say for a small speaker.The sound is very crisp and very little distortion when full on.
* It seems to have the right balance of treble and bass, though some people might like the setup.
* There are a few controls for volume and pausing/playing.
* It has a strap which would suggest that you could hang it up from something.
Cons:
It would be be nice to have the ability to change the bass and treble via buttons or via the app.

Much improved Sony wireless Bluetooth speaker
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sony XB100 wireless Bluetooth speaker in a nice rubber grey probably better for absorbing any travel knocks etc I personally like it, black mesh speaker cover and comes with instructions, a charging lead and a carry strap. So easy to pair with sound quality is as expected from Sony excellent, phone call quality is excellent also. Looks great performs great good job Sony, It's unfortunate that only the same model will st (stereo) pair as I have a range of different sized Sony wireless Bluetooth speakers and would be awesome if they could pair at your own will ,If only through an update Sony apart from that added touch the speaker is an improvement on the Sony XB13 so very good big thumbs up

Great little speaker!
I bought this speaker a month ago & it's great to be able to listen to music streamed from my phone in the garden or wherever else I'm working! The sound is excellent - tho the volume is restricted, linked to the phone, which means I have to move it around with me. That's a bonus for the neighbours when I'm in the garden as it's not too loud - plenty loud enough for me when I have it nearby!

Simply A Great Small Speaker
This is a speaker that refuses o be defined by its size. Clear sound with good bass and enough punch to fill the average room. For performance I would give it 5 stars but although this said it could do with airplay too for versatility. I would also like to see the controls more easily identifiable. Currently in Brail. Nevertheless less a great spea speaker at a most affordable price.

Nice vibrant colour (blue), good sound quality, true to its waterproof claim - although sound does become slightly muffled when water gets in the actual speaker it. Fantastic loud and quiet, links to all our devices easily and it lasts a really long time after charged to 100%. Well worth it

Faultless quick Bluetooth connection every time.
Very happy with this speaker. It’s compact but punches above it’s weight where the volume is concerned. The sound is very crisp and clear too. I Also like the fact you can hang it from your bag, belt or tent pole or anything really.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sound quality produced by the Sony SRS-XB100 Wireless Speaker is impressive for such a small speaker unit, including a good level of bass even when listening at low volume. Easy Bluetooth pairing with a tablet and an Android mobile phone. The handy Play/Pause and Volume Up/Down buttons on the speaker are clearly labelled and click when pressed, making them easy to use. The SRS-XB100 speaker unit has a solid build quality, with a rubbery feel and non-slip base. Its small round size is ideal for packing in your bag for traveling. The strap can be attached using either one or both strap mounting points on the speaker unit, providing a flexible and secure means of hanging it, for example, in a tent, on your exercise bike, in the garden, wherever.

Sounds better laying on it’s side
I bought this to replace my old Sony Bluetooth speaker which I’ve had for over 10 years. This one has far better sound and battery life is brilliant (haven’t charged it yet since taking out of the box!) I was surprised to find I needed to download an app to use it - I do t see the point of the app as I only want to play my iPod through it and haven’t needed one before. I also find it sounds better laying on its side than standing up. Otherwise a pretty good speaker.

The t sound quality on this speaker is very good, and once the initial pairing has been done The sound quality is very good for a small speaker and it works well with my tablet and phone. However, the charging cable is far too short, almost unusable. And the instructions, both on the Sony website and the paper leaflet were skimpy and hard to follow. As a result, it was difficult and frustrating to set up the speaker. But it does work well now and is useful

Low cost portable speaker with good sound quality
For a small relatively low cost speaker that not only looks good, it actually sounds good for its size. Has a nice solid feel to the rubberised body and pretty decent weight so it doesn't topple over easily. Having the removable strap attached to the speaker is a bonus for carrying around by attaching to bag etc or clip it around your belt. The sound quality is actually very good for a speaker of its size, and the passive radiator copes well providing lower end bass sound. Top end treble sound was a bit on the bright side for me, so I changed settings in the music player equaliser and sounded better for me. An easy fix to get different music types sound just right and not overdrive the speaker. No problem recommending this speaker for use in home or outdoor activities with it being IP67 certified for water protection, enjoy your tunes wherever you are!

Excellent performance and value from Sony as usual
Excellent quality design and execution of a brilliant compact wireless speaker. Handles well in the hand, sits safely with it's rubberised finish body and hangs anywhere quickly with the well-designed strap. For the price extremely good sound. Instant connection, no need to faff about in settings, and lasts for hours. Absolutely ideal to travel with and listen to the Radio on BBC Sounds. Would absolutely and fully recommend.

I go on the beach quite a bit and would happily take it with me as the waterproofing is reassuring Despite being monaural the sound quality and the range are good and it gives the impression of being a high quality product, definetaly a good product
