Does the job well.
Firstly the hoover does a good of job at cleaning with very good suction power and the turbo brush is brilliant, but it gets heavy and cumbersome the more I use it. I'm forever hitting the handle on furniture, the hand grip is strong and well made but you have to be strong to use it! My last cordless was light, nibble and came with a light, but emptying it was messy, the Duoflex is a much better design and less messy when emptying the cylinder. However I have to say I don't use my corded hoover that much in preference to convenience. I wouldn't recommend this for my 80 year old mother it's simply too much of an handful.

High quality device that’s thoroughly adaptable and powerful.
I was sceptical, but the 100–day trial and the promotional price made it worth a go. It took a couple of days, but its usefulness quickly became apparent.
The accessories add a great deal to its versatility. With further innovation in batteries and in filter management, I can see this replacing mains-powered machines altogether.
Simply more useful than a larger hoover for quick cleaning and for smaller, tighter areas and gaps, ceilings, corners … And spiders.

Impressive on non carpeted areas.
This is a very powerful vac and has excellent pick up, I have thick carpets just about everywhere and to be fair to Miele they don't recommend it for carpets. I has improved the look of my carpets and is excellent (5 star) on non carpeted areas. Because of the thickness of my carpets it does fill the collection box very quickly and has to be emptied for each room which is annoying. A bit heavy due to the battery at the handle end but it performs extremely well.

I highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed.
I did a lot of research before deciding upon this vacuam cleaner. The suction is excellent. It is strong and sturdy as I would expect from Miele. I do also have a corded Dyson vacuam cleaner. I find this one to be quick and easy particularly when in a hurry. I bought it mainly to vacuam very high beams and cobwebs. It would be extremely useful if they would consider making extension poles for this reason.
I highly recommend. This machine is superior to Dyson.

Quite a good vacuum cleaner but a bit heavy
I like it and it vacuums well but it is a bit heavy to carry around and the charge does not last as long as I might have hoped.

Picks up well, needs long term use for opinion
I have tried all vacuum cleaners and wrecked them all- no matter the cost. I am impressed so far, if it can survive me it will be a first. Seems to pick up well. Only problem is to have to plug in. The wall handle needs to be a charging place, not having to plug in a wire. It was a good price on black Friday.
Ask me in 12 months for a long term opinion. .

Much easier to use than a corded vacuum without very good suction power.
We purchased the Duoflex as our existing vacuum had become too heavy. The Duoflex appears well-made as you would expect from Miele and easy to manoeuvre. It is certainly much easier to use than our old vacuum, but being a cordless we find the battery runs down quite quickly. You certainly can’t vacuum the whole house on a charge even on the lower suction option. With this in mind you just need to plan your cleaning in chunks which isn’t too much of a problem, We have docked a star as the dust container is tiny. This fills in about 20 seconds as we have new carpets. We hope that once the carpets have shed loose fibres this will improve. We have additionally bought the small brush head for the stairs. It would have been nice to have this included as a vacuum without an attachment for the stairs means you are unable to vacuum the stairs properly. Overall we are happy with our purchase even though there are some compromises to be made for being cordless.
