Description
Some foods are tender with time. Others are perfected under pressure. The Fast Slow Pro automatically adjusts time, temperature and pressure between fast and slow cooking modes to coax maximum flavor and texture.
Dual sensors at the top and bottom monitor ingredients for more accurate temperature and pressure control, while the hands free steam release automatically varies across foods to maximize flavor and texture.

Read the instructions thoroughly before using. It’s a great machine and cooks well using the pressure setting or the slow cook setting but like any new tool you have to get to know it and expect a few mistakes along the way. It’s safe and efficient and the customer service is fantastic. Breville have the identical machine but that’s an Australian model and I found the Breville Facebook page really useful as their machine is Sage FSP twin.
Tips to get started - make sure the rubber seal inside the lid is in place by running your finger around it before closing the lid and try and get as much heat into the liquid as you can before closing the lid to pressurise.

Limited life expectancy
Great product for the first 1-2 years, easy to use, multiple functions, quality food and very encouraging. I have a range of sage products and have never been disappointed, so when the item suddenly stopped pressuring up it came as a surprise.
It has been maintained and well looked after, we’ve had no other issues, and used this on a weekly basis - so excessive use is not the cause.
The product is now out of warranty and the main function is no longer working.
This maybe an isolated problem, which is unfortunately limited to a small number of appliances…but still disappointing.

Easy to use, good features and cooking
Easy to use slow and pressure cooker with additional features for saute, reducing, etc. As with any cooker of this type it does command a fair amount of kitchen workspace but the ease of cooking makes up for that, and it has a robust and quality feel to it as well as being pretty easy to clean. It has a range of built-in programmes and the recipe book includes several ideas tailored to them, but also manual settings so you can customise and/or use some of the many recipes for books and online. For workday meals it is becoming our go-to kitchen appliance, adding ingredients in the morning then leaving to do its work through the day ready for the evening. Well recommended.

Horrible machine
We bought the Sage Fast Slow Pro in the hope that we will use it for years; at least the price seemed to promise it - very expensive. After using it a few times it stopped working - seems like the electronic display isn't functioning, messaging permanently «LID NOT SEALED». We couldn’t solve this problem immediately (when our Sage was under varranty) because we had to move to another country. Now we are back in Ireland and this multicooker is just a useless piece of metal. And my mother-in-law bought the same model in parallel, and she has the same problem!!!

All perfect except loss of product confidence
As expected from Sages excellent products, all of the menu options my the cooker work beautifully. However, I’ve totally lost confindece and I can’t bring myself to buy Sage products again. Just to mention I’ve used pressure cookers 50 years. the sage pressure cooker part takes an age to come to pressure. It has not pressurised correctly right from the start. Pressure Cooking a medium chicken takes twice as long as normal pressure cooker. I did have conversations at the beginning of the pandemic a couple of years ago but it got me nowhere. Very disappointed as this big purchase for me as I am pensioner.

Technically great but needs better instructions and recipe guidelines
This is a great kitchen tool but as a newcomer to pressure cooking there needs to be more comprehensive instruction. This could have been achieved in the recipe book but it's a bit flimsy the recipes in it lack the basics. The custom settings is barely mentioned and would have benefited from examples of when to use this, say for converting cooking settings found in other pressure cooker recipes. Sage would do well to put out more tips and recipes for the Fast Slow Pro on its own Youtube channel but as yet there are only two videos, one showing a lamb shank recipe and the other just a product marketing overview video. Type pressure cooker recipes into Youtube and you will invariably see plenty of content featuring other pressure cooker products such the Instant Pot cooker. Sage marketing needs to get its Fast Slow Pro coverage on similar levels.

Great piece of kit when it can get to pressure
I was given one of these and the first time I used it when to 80 pressure no probLem. The second time however, it struggled to get to pressure saying it was leaking. Checked seal, and it kept failing. Lid not sealed. Time and again meanwhile my veg was ruined and roast potatoes burnt. There should be a trouble shooting section in your instruction book.
