Brilliant slow cooker and rice maker
Fantastic cuts down on washing up we use it every week. Brilliant for casseroles, paella, risotto, sushi, steamed rice and lots more we haven’t even tried yet. You can make dinner in the morning and all day know you have one less chore in the evening amd the food is always delicious. The meat and chicken is so tender and the flavours permeate the meat over several hours. The sauté function means no need to mess up a frying pan when browning off meat or frying onions.

A world apart from your usual slow cooker
Bought primarily as a slow cooker with the ability to sear and seal meat in the same pit. Everything else is a bonus. Have used this to slow cook joints of meat, bolognese and various beef casseroles. The results are so much better than our previous ceramic slow cooker and you can even make gravy in the pot after removing the meat.

Would be 5 stars if could be repaired
This is a replacement for one bought 7 years ago which broke down despite not being over-used. The slow cook function never did work but the risotto function was great till recently. Sadly it cannot be repaired though pot itself is in great condition. That's the trouble these days with so many appliances -- it's a huge tax on the earth's resources to use something and junk less than 10 years later.

Just brilliant
I bought this as a slow cooker as I didn’t want to brown the ingredients in a separate pan I wanted the one stop solution. It does that brilliantly but so much more . Risotto function is brilliant steaming and rice brilliant too. I can’t stand kitchen gadgets that just take up space but this is a good s a kettle or toaster a good saucepan or a good quality knife I’ve had it about 8 years and it is brilliant I bought one as gift for friends and they love it a perfect present if you love food just buy it you will be so pleased

Non stick coating not durable
I absolutely loved this product for the first three months - it worked perfectly and looked great in my kitchen. However, despite my being careful to only use silicon utensils (and even those I used gently and rarely) and wash it carefully, the non-stick coating on the inner pot began to wear away. I think it may have something to do with the high heat of the saute function. Unless you like eating Teflon, I strongly suggest you give this product the swerve. It's a shame, really. If it were not for this one fault, I would be raving about this product.

Ace Sage risotto plus produces great results with all rissottos
Probably the best kitchen gadget we bought all year. Simplest risottos, great slow cooked stews, even suitable for red cabbage for Christmas dinner and only 2 minutes of washing up. Write your own recipes. Get one. Thanks Heston!

I bought this three years ago and used it intermittently. Yes good for risottos and casseroles. Simple to operate. But it now longer heats up! I am not impressed. Compare this with 'ancient' ceramic affair my sister uses frequently.. I will ask about spare parts but I had expected a more robust and long serving product.
