Perfect for family portions, cooks evenly and reli
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Russell Hobbs Maxi Fryer for a few weeks and honestly, it’s been great. It’s big enough to cook for the whole family in one go, which saves me a lot of time. Chips come out crispy and chicken cooks evenly without being greasy. It heats up quickly and doesn’t make too much noise while running. Cleaning isn’t the easiest job in the world (like with any fryer), but because the parts come out, it’s manageable if you do it straight after using. It feels solid and safe to use, and overall it’s made frying at home so much quicker and less stressful.

Best chips ever!

I am so pleased with this deep fat fryer. I use it solely for the purpose of crispy chips and it certainly delivers. They are by far the most delicious I have ever made and I’m sure it would make other lovely food too. It holds a huge 1kg inside and is really easy to both use and clean. It is about the size of a large toaster and so you do need to have the room for it. Overall though, I think it’s a really great piece of equipment.

Russell Hobbs Maxi Fryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lovely little appliance. Certainly does the job well. Takes a while to heat up but not an issue. The basket handle seems a little flimsy but it's held its own each time. My only issue is that the oil "holder" doesn't detach from the entire appliance so difficult when u need to empty the oil. I use a ladle to get oil out. The lid comes off which does help a bit.
Overall looks good and will continue using it. The temperature control is pretty good but not the best. Like it very much.

Value for money - great capacity - easily cleaned.
Oil heats up really quick while the body gets warm but is fine to touch. It's well ventilated. Slight problem would be that the basket and handle come too close together when trying to introduce it to the oil with the food in the basket, makes it tricky to get the whole thing into place for the lid to shut. OVERALL great value for money!

Crispy chips in a flash
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the brand name as you know you're going to get good quality. Being just a family of 2 we didn't need a large fryer. This one is a great size for chips for 2. The chips come out golden and crispy.
My only niggle is the oil max line is hard to see and you can't overload the basket otherwise the chips aren't covered but once you've used it a couple of times is easy and simple to use and with a lid that closes you feel safe from all the hot oil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really impressed with the Russell Hobbs Maxi Fryer. It’s the perfect size for a family, with a deep basket that easily fits chips, chicken, fish, or doughnuts without overcrowding. The fryer heats up quickly and keeps a steady temperature, so food always comes out golden and crispy rather than soggy.
Cleaning is a big plus for me — the removable bowl and lid make it much easier to wash up compared to other fryers I’ve had. The oil drains cleanly, and it doesn’t leave the kitchen smelling too much of oil, which is a bonus!
Overall, it feels solid and well-made, looks smart on the counter, and does exactly what you want it to. If you’re after a reliable, family-sized fryer that’s easy to use and clean, this one’s a great choice

Easy to use with simple controls
Easy to use with simple controls. Cooks food beautifully. One thing to watch out for. The green light comes on while it is heating and goes off when it’s ready. I think it would make more sense if green meant GO. Otherwise I’m very happy with it.

Makes the Best home made chips
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Small and compact so doesn’t take up much space, extremely easy to use, very self explanatory. Super easy to clean, cooks enough food for 2/3 people which is great for a small family. Can cook alsorts in it just like an air fryer (just less healthy lol) makes the best home made chips though. Not really sure on the energy efficiency as I do not own a smart meter so can’t compare ! All in all a good piece of cooking equipment
