Quality in every aspect
From the first moment you use this toaster you can sense the quality in the build in every aspect, the confident click as the bread is locked into its lowered position, the unfussy way your toast pops up…quietly, the easy handles for picking up the toaster and returning it to the cupboard, the slide of the crumb tray, the quiet dial for selecting browning levels, it all oozes quality which is the very hallmark of Sage. Toast may take a little longer than you may have been previously used to but but it will be more evenly browned without it being dried out.

Good toaster, have used the different settings for type and especially crumpets. Had 6 months now and it seems to not do the bottom of the slice so well on one side. It does look like some of the bars don't glow as red as others. Do like the timer indicator so you know how much long you have.

It toasts stuff
Look, at the end of the day, it's a toaster. Not as good at toasting as the grill in your oven but better than a number of other toasters I've owned over the years. Its coverage is OK but slightly uneven. It has different settings for different kinds of bread product, including bagels and crumpets, but I'm yet to be convinced they are at all necessary.
It's an impressive looking thing, quite sizable, and is orientated at 90 degrees to most toasters.
All in all decent without being world leading!

This is certainly one of the most stylish toasters on the market and it’s range of toasting settings is impressive and it does its job to perfection. Having had other Sage products I have no doubt that it will last the course!
