Silly design
Saw this in an electrical superstore and bought one. What I didn’t see at time of purchase was the length and location of the mains cable.
RH have fitted a paltry 50cm of usable cable and routed it from THE FRONT of the machine.
Since most of us use a toaster on a worktop which generally have wall mounted sockets at, wait for it, the rear of the worktops this makes this design feature the silliest I’ve come across in years.
It’s going straight back to where I bought it tomorrow for one with a longer, more user friendly, cable.
Come along Mr Hobbs, you really need to try harder.

Russell Hobbs Toaster
I had a previous Russell Hobbs toaster which lasted goodness knows how many years. Really good bit of kit. This one works ok but now my Hovis thick sliced, which fitted with room to spare, cannot take length wise these slices of bread any longer without squelching up. Put them in upright and the top few CM's dont get cooked.
As far as I am concerned it is useless If you like whole slices of bread to be toasted avoid as cleary the makers have cut back the size of the slots

OK but slow.
Works ok but very slow. Its only just over half the power rating (KW) of a visually similar RH toaster that it was replacing. Could not find the power rating in the tech spec which is not helpful.
