Rated 1 out of 5 by from Loved my kettle until it leaked and now does not work! For the money I paid and the matching toaster!! The quality of the product does not last. Have it just under 3 years and it has recently stopped working altogether. It has leaked since it was just out of warranty, the chrome on the lid chipped away after a year and a half and you had to keep moving the kettle on base to get a connection going after 2 years. For the money you pay I have had €40 kettles that lasted 10 years. Smeg may look nice but it is all fire coat and no ...... Beware don’t fall for it’s good looks!! They hid the cheap well!!!

When I switch it on for visitors they are not only fascinated with the lights that switch on as the kettle boils but the sound the kettle makes when it comes to the boil. It has become a real conversation piece with guest.
