Pot calling the kettle black
I bought this along with several other Sage products a few weeks ago and I love it. I mean, it hasn’t become my new best friend or anything. Tried taking it to the pub for a drink but to be honest it’s conversation was very limited. However, it is very stylish - love the soft close top and I also enjoy the faint ‘ting’ when you place it on it’s surface and when it’s boiled. Comfortable to lift and pour too.

Basic, expensive, but nice looking kettle
Just a basic kettle.. no frills. I expected there to be some LEDs to light up the water level window at least, similar to my oracle touch, but no. So what you are left with is a nice, but basic kettle, with a lid that opens slowly for some reason that I can’t yet fathom, which seems important enough that the kettle takes its name from the feature?
It does make a soft ping noise when boiled, although the matching toaster doesn’t. So all in all a very inconsistent range.

Looks good but agree with some other reviews, the constant gathering of condensation on the lid is irritating the kettle pings when it has boiled but also pings when you place it back on the stand. The lid is very slow to open and sometimes appears to stick and needs assistance
