Brabantia Ironing board cover.
Purchased as old Brabantia one now in need of replacing and as expected with Brabantia very good quality and nice and thick. Couple of warnings though can buy cover only with no felt backing or padding so be careful unless you already have felt backing and padding and DO NOT put side tighteners on 1st as will pull cord through and you will lose it. Happened to me and spent about 1 hour using long bits of metal to get cord back out. USE SMALL BLACK PLASTIC END PIECE 1ST AND TIGHTEN UP BEFORE ABOVE HAPPPENS. Other than that top quality product...........

Excellent replacement
I needed a replacement cover, and decided to go for a genuine Brabantia, to save a lot of hassle with poor fitting alternatives. Pleased I did, as it fits very well, and is nice and secure. Was pleasantly surprised to find that the "underlayers" were sewn into the top cover, so no problems with the layers moving about. (My old cover had 3 separate layers). Only one criticism (and therefore 4 not 5 stars) - the Size Reference Label is sewn into the top of the cover, so is visible all the time. It's not a major problem (I could un-pick the stitches if it was), but I don't need to know the size every time I use the board, so it would have been better to be on the underside. When I need another cover, I think I would have been able to find the label !

This is a replacement board.
My First Brabantia Board was smaller in size, and lasted me nearly 20 years. It had to go due to rust on iron rest which had been repaired a couple of times with enamel paint. My choice for this replacement was the Brabantia Name, Excellent Boards, Very Sturdy, Good Adjustable Heights and well worth the money. Very good iron covers as well. I also use the Brabantia Iron Rest as well to prevent any mishaps on the board covers. Brilliant little accessory.

Perfect fit

DOES THE JOB!
Pleasantly surprised to find the felt pad integrated into the cover - was expecting to have to fiddle about to fit 2 separate items.
Ironing is much more comfortable with the padding & it absorbs some of the wetness from the steam iron so maybe my ironing board will last a bit longer.
A shame I could not find the product readily available in the UK but delivery was fast & efficient so no real complaints there.
Bright & cheerful design to the cover.
