I’ve seen bigger postage stamps!
Foolishly I ordered this electric blanket without checking the size since every other double I’ve ever had has been a good sized fit for a double mattress. My suspicion that all was not as it should be was aroused by the size of the box it arrived in, about half the size you might expect to contain a good sized double blanket.
When I took it out of the box and placed it on the bed I had to check the sewn in label because my first thought was that a single had been accidentally packed in a double box. Wrong! It was what Dimplex were jokingly claiming was a double with extra foot warmth. The blanket stopped about six or so inches from either side of the bed meaning that with two of you in the bed you’d be fighting for the middle of the mattress and sure you might get extra foot warmth but only if you were to have the blanket right to the bottom of the mattress and doing that would leave the top of the blanket a good foot short of the top of the duvet if the duvet were just meeting the edge of the pillows. I’m 5ft 8 inches so below average height these days and the blanket was nowhere near long enough for me.
I hold my hand up,I should have checked the measurements but still, I’ve seen bigger postage stamps. I sent it back the same day. No quibbles from Harvey Norman, I got a full refund a couple of days or so later. One star is being generous. How Dimplex thinks this is fit for purpose I’ve no idea. It seemed to me to be a lot more about scrimping on materials. Over priced and undersized.

Lovely warm light blanket
When I put it on double bed I thought twas much smaller, but it’s so warm and light on bed. More efficient than old one. Perfect for a toasty nights sleep as I can be left on at no 2. Really warm at no 4
