Neat product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great presentation so you can see exactly what you're getting rather than hidden away in a box with stock pictures.
It gets into crevices of the armpits and groin easily and the attachements give various lengths of hair growth if you dont want your hair growth it shaved off completely. It also gives you a bit of confidence when shaving in the groin area that you're not going to nick any delicate skin, whilst still giving a short neat growth.
It takes a while to charge intially but lasts a long time once charged.
Although I dont normally do my back I did try out the attachment to see if it worked and it is useful.

Does exactly what I want it to do
Hard to understand the comments here about some of the attachment combs not working - they're there to precisely limit the distance of the cutters to the skin surface. So unless you're shaving INTO the direction of any such unusually long body hairs, you won't achieve much.
For those of us who can actually read and follow instructions, this is an excellent gromming razor. comfortable to hold, easy to use, and very effective. The supplied back shaving attachment makes removing back hair (which I intensely dislike having) a breeze.
Very little not to like. Performs perfectly, charges quickly, looks good and is very well designed.
If however, not being able to follow simple instructions is among your credentials, perhaps you might want to ask a grown up for some help with such things...

Fantastic product, easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips Bodygroom 5000 firstly looks fantastic, it is stylishly designed with a smooth profile and looks great with its charging stand.
The groomer was intuitive and very easy to use. The ability to change heads easily and switch the direction of grooming by turning the combs the other way made it very easy to reach the hard to get to areas.
The additional back attachment was a great help in being able to reach all areas of your back with relative ease.
Being showerproof is a very important factor as the ability to use it in the shower makes for an easy clean up afterwards.

Great Trimmer with a very good design.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being a Hairy man, including the back. I find Male Grooming has always been difficult due to inconvenience of where you have to reach but I feel this trimmer with the attachment has created a simple solution. The double edged trimmer also meant that I could trim without it being too awkward.
What I was most Impressed with was the fact that it didn't knick the skin.
The only slight negative was that I probably had to go over a few of the areas but I think that is because I am quite hairy.
Honestly Props to the team that has designed it, really impressed.

Great groomer, not the quickest...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, it certainly does the job, no questions there. I used the groomer on my upper arms, shoulders, back and groin. No issues with the hypoallergenic shield does what it should do, no reaction what so ever on all areas. The clips to determine length are a nice addition. It does make the whole shaving process take longer, a traditional beard groomer seems to have more grunt when tackling coarser hair. The back extension took some getting use too (probably more my lack of hand eye than anything on Phillips end) but again it fulfills it’s job well.
Overall, it’s a solid product. Compact and precise.

High quality body groomer from Philips
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic product and upgrade from my previous body groomer. Included 3,5 and 7 mm combs will cover most people needs. Close shave without combs is as good as expected from a Philips product and will leave you with a smooth skin for longer.
Extra handle/extension helps with hair on a back and you won't don't need anyone help anymore.
Charge time is short compared to similar devices and you can get up to an hour of cordless use with it.
It's easy and comfortable to use and access any body part.
Cleaning is super simple and can be done with a rinse under the tap.
All together is a quality item from Philips.

Brilliant all-round
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My partner has been using this for a while now and loves it; it is easy to handle, lightweight to use and generally ace. It has the back attachment to it (which we haven't used as he doesn't need it - though I'm hoping it has the same usage as it did everywhere else) which would make it easy to use on those hard-to-reach places; and the battery life on it is fantastic. One charge can get him a good couple of shaves. The only thing that we would change would be the fact that you cannot use it on the face - it;s just generally too rough and would cause discomfort if tried.

Excellent
I've lost the main blade protector on my Philips 1000 so decided to take the plunge with the 5000 and I'm not disappointed. I'm a very hairy 60 year old bloke who can look like a gorilla after 3 months. This was way better on my lower parts than the 1000 doing it a lot quicker. I've always had to have help with my back but the extension arm worked perfectly even with both my shoulders that I've dislocated twice each. I've just showed my back to the wife and it's "Oh wow". I did my scalp with the 3mm comb so I don't know what people are on about that they don't work. Very happy.
