Bad bad buy!
I bought this at Christmas and had issues with it from first use! I actually mailed the manufacturer with no response! Absolutely useless for carving meat! I only put a star because I have to!

Carving knife as a kitchen essential
I recently purchased a Russell Hobbs electric carving knife to make food preparation more efficient, and it has been a game-changer in my kitchen. From the moment I unpacked it, the knife exuded quality. Its sleek, ergonomic design and lightweight build immediately impressed me.
Using it was a breeze. The motor is powerful yet quiet, and the blades slice through meats, bread, and even harder vegetables effortlessly. I tested it on a roasted turkey, and it delivered uniform slices with minimal effort. The control was precise, and it didn't shred the meat like some manual knives tend to do.
Cleaning was surprisingly simple, thanks to the detachable blades. I also appreciate the safety features, like the locking mechanism, which prevents accidental starts—an essential for families.
The only minor drawback is the cord, which could have been a bit longer for more flexibility in larger kitchens. However, this is a small inconvenience compared to the overall performance.

Disappointed
A bit disappointed on the blades we had a Philips carving knife for at least 20 years and the blades were superb on the cut but with these blades the cut isn't great and for some reason the meat gets clogged between the blades which is very messy ya l am disappointed to be fair and l acted on the reviews on the Harvey Norman website which were good but l wouldn't recommend over the blades

No Impressed.
So disappointed when I opened this knife. Its tiny, can barely get my hand through it, wanted to exchange it, but they made a fuss!! Cord is so short , its almost silly. Would not recommend. My old one lasted 33 yrs and had a 6ft long cord. I dont have high hopes for this one. Hence the 2 star.

very fast service. I had already purchased a Morphy Richards knife which I had to return as it was useless. The Russel Hobbs knife is fantastic. One thing there was a wine offer in box and when I tried to use i it did not apply to Ireland.
