Good phone with good options
Excellent phone for an elderly person, purchased for an elderly parent who’s rather hard of hearing & sight. Really loud ringer that can be adjusted to very high level, same for speaker volume & if person has modern type hearing aids it can link directly to the hearing aid.
The only flaw is that there is no option to permanently turn off the answer phone & there is no option to purchase the same model without it, the answer phone can be turned off but if the phone rings 14 times it will still kick in. However 14 rings is a lot, even my parent can get to the phone in that time.
The second handset is handy as all u need is a power outlet for it to work and not too far from the base unit. A good feature is that you can set the phone to auto answer once lifted out of the charge base, very handy, no buttons to press, to hang up you do need to press the red hand up button.
All in all it’s very good.
