Made from robust stainless steel, this two-piece set features a 70L poultry scalder and a 50cm poultry plucker. In mere seconds after opening the pores of poultry using our scalder, the plucker strips the bird, saving you considerable time and effort.
The standout part is the simplicity of the operation. To use the scalder, immerse your birds into the machine for about 30 seconds (or longer for larger birds), agitating the bird to ensure thorough exposure. Simply pluck a wing feather if there's no resistance, the bird is well scalded and ready for the plucker. Be sure to maintain appropriate scalding time to avoid over-scalding, which could damage or cook the bird's skin.
The subsequent feather disposal is a breeze with the 50 cm tub style plucker with 106 yellow rubber fingers. This powerful yet safe means of removal can hold up to 6 birds at a time. As you process your chickens, geese, turkeys, and ducks, simply use a hose pipe (male hose lock connector needed) to rinse away the feathers and keep the machine running at optimum performance. Please note, this plucker is not suitable for pheasants.
