The aluminium tube contains 140ml (5oz) of Dioxazine Violet relief printmaking ink, perfect for linocut and woodcut techniques. This water-mixable, oil-based ink is easy to clean up with soap and water, making it convenient to use.
Speedball's relief ink is made of the highest quality, lightfast pigments that consistently produce beautiful and intense results. It rolls out smoothly and transfers well without any added fillers, making it ideal for adults and older kids who enjoy cutting and printing.
This ink is safe to use as it carries the AP Seal, indicating that it has been certified in a toxicological evaluation to contain no harmful materials in amounts that could be toxic to humans, including children, or cause any acute/chronic health issues.
