This buoyancy aid has a performance level of 50 and can be used as a personal flotation device in an emergency, or for improving confidence when learning to swim.
The rescue vest is made of 100% polyester with PE foam padding. The drawstring closure and the adjustable waist belt ensure the proper fit, so the vest will stay in place, even when you fall into the water.
The buoyancy aid is tested by a notified body based on standard EN ISO 12402-5.
Level 50 buoyancy aids are intended for use by those who are competent swimmers and who are near to bank or shore, or who have help and a means of rescue close at hand. These garments have minimal bulk, but they are of limited use in disturbed water, and cannot be expected to keep the user safe for a long period of time. They do not have sufficient buoyancy to protect people who are unable to help themselves. They require active participation by the user.
