Super performance and great value
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this model to replace a non Bosch that just wouldn't clean properly. The difference is night and day. Performs really well, everything cleaned with no residue, relatively quickly and dry. Not tried the Silence function yet, but even so, still pretty quiet normally. Good selection of programs, and a bonus that it has a basket rather than the cutlery tray which I am not as keen on. Overall, excellent buy and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Very good dishwasher
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall it's a very good dishwasher although the lack of a knife shelf compared to the old-school dishwasher we had was a disappointment. Luckily, I was able to remove old dishwashers knife eack and use that.
One issue is that some water droplets are left within the machine after most washes but this could probably be removed by using the extra drying setting. As the cutlery and dishes are dry I just leave the washing settings as standard.

Sensibly speced, good design no unwanted features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bosch Series 2 fits the bill in all respects for us and we are extremely pleased with it. It looks nice works well, is simple to program and easy to load & unload. The drawers are well designed for all sorts of plates and other cook ware. 0ur old dishwasher (different make) was very good and had lasted over 15 years before finally expiring with a bang & flash! We thought about a new one of the same type but the reviews were not good – “new machines not as good as the old one”. We read many more reviews about different makes/models but were concerned by comments: Top cutlery trays causing the middle rack to be lower, so you can’t fit tall plates in the bottom and height is limited in the upper one; WiFi enabled, which we didn't want - just want a mahine where you select the program and press start. “Doors springs open to dry at the end of the cycle” – didn't want that. We wanted a good, reliable make, for a reasonable price, no WiFi, a cutlery basket not a tray, not built-in, sensibly spaced/adjustable top rack and no door springing open. The Bosch Series 2 is ideal for us.

1st Bosch dishwasher
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace a series of broken dishwashers, which typically break down as soon as the warranty has exprired. This is the first time I've spent a bit extra for a Bosch, as it came with a 5 year guarantee. Very pleased with it so far, it's nice and quiet - an important feature in an open plan setting - and good results from 1 hour cycle.

Excellent Machine
Easy to load/unload. Cleans & dries well even without using "extra dry" option. No WiFi thank heavens so easy to program and operate using buttons on front. Reasonably quiet on normal programs (haven't tried the "Silence 50C" program yet. Sensible height between adjustable top and bottom drawers for dinner plates. Can't really fault it.

So far so good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We went for Bosch again as our previous model was over 20 years old and whilst still working was tired. We didn't go for all the fancy functionality and stayed with more or less the same as we previously had. So far it has not disappointed. Hope it lasts for a similar amount of time.

Dishwasher Series 2 free-standing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very quiet to run, cleans well, looks good. A bit complex to set up and too many options. The eco cycle goes on for 3 hours, why so long. I prefer 30 minutes to an hour as being much more user friendly. Particularly as we like to be around when it's running.

A perfectly good appliance spoilt by penny pinchin
Our previous Bosch Dishwasher failed and we bought the nearest spec new one to replace it.
Minor changes to the internal fittings have spoilt the user experience. Our previous machine had a cutlery basket which could slide to be positioned anywhere along the front of the lower unit and, indeed the illustration in the manual shows just such a basket. Ours has a much cheaper basket which can only be put in one place. This ruins the loading flexibility of the lower tray.
The upper tray on the old machine had two hinging shelves, one each side, to hold knives and kitchen tools. One of these had raised holders for the knives.
The new machine has only one shelf with no knife holders. Unsurprisingly with knives and tools just laying about, some cane out not properly clean.
I am SO disappointed that our new machine has been cheapened to reduce its effectiveness.
If you insist on replacing your old Bosch appliance with a new one you should retain the old fittings to preserve your user experience.
