Harvey Norman are a disaster
I bought this product a month ago and bought with the understanding I was receiving everything on display and was told that as it was in the warehouse it could be delivered within 48 hours as they deliver to my location daily. Issue one when I arranged delivery I was told 10 days. As I had arranged a gas installer I then had to do to further expense to rent a van to collect the product. Issue 2, when I unpacked the product two items were missing. A hot plate which is listed on the website as part and a wok griddle. I rang on the 13th of March to advise this and was told by Harvey Norman that they would have it couriered out. It is now the 23rd and there has been no product and all I have is there might be an update by the 25th with no guarantee of if it will be replaced. When I asked what if rangemaster did not provide the part I was told it’s up to them and not Harvey Norman at which point I argued that I bought from Harvey Norman so was on Harvey Norman to get it sorted. It was reiterated that rangemaster must sort it and it is not a Harvey Norman issue. My arguement went back to the fact Harvey Norman have this listed on their website and as the point of sale the must honour what I have purchased as it is what they advertised. At this point I was handed a display model of the hot plate and even though is scuffed and scratched I felt it was the only way to guarantee I get some element of what I paid for. So with this product I have had to pay extra due to delivery issues, I have had to take a second hand part as the company who sold it two me in two weeks have not fulfilled their part of the sale ageeement have have even not fulfilled the agreement made when I notified them of the issue so under no circumstances would I recommend Harvey Norman and rangemaster either as I have been left without the full new product I purchased at a substantial cost
