Do not buy this product
Where do I start! Firstly to the hob. There is no difference flame wise between full heat and low heat, its full heat all the way. The stainless steel base is a poor grade of steel, it needs to be kept clean and polished all the time to avoid food debris eating through the steel thus causing permanent staining.
Now to the oven. This oven is quite simply a complete disaster. There is no fan oven, just top & bottom elements and a tiny fan (which is too small to circulate the air through such a big chamber) There are no elements around this fan. The chamber of the oven is very big, which is great but the elements are not strong enough to heat the chamber adequately and the circulation of hot air is minimal. Im a chef and ive not been able to cook anything to date satisfactorily in this oven. It cant cook pastry, even meringues adequately. If you plan on roasting a joint, the oven needs to be preheated for a min of 45 mins before you consider putting anything into it, and even at that you can expect the cook time to be double what it would be in a regular oven. I have this oven just 12 mths and now getting rid of it and buying a proper oven. Please preserve your sanity by not buying this product!
