Excellent product
This was fitted by our kitchen designer and I was very wary of getting a combined oven with microwave as a couple of my friends said they were very complicated. However, I really haven't found it tricky at all. Reading the instruction booklet, it certainly sounds complicated but, if you read the instructions carefully, whilst at the same time doing the actual functions, it's really quite straight forward. It is also a very good size for a second oven. The only thing I'm not 100% happy about is that it is totally digital, no knobs at all, consequently I am always having to wipe fingermarks off it. Other than that I think it's great.

Leap of faith
It's always a leap of faith purchasing a replacement oven after 18 years. So I went for like for like. So far the controls seem easy to navigate, there's a much brighter oven light and looks like it might be a lot easier to keep clean. The microwave function is really fussy...maximum heat time is 90 seconds then you have to add more time. Heating at 600w and 900w requires the grill pan to be removed....it sparks apparently. No fast heat function for circo therm...not that I can find in settings. I like the soft closing door and it looks good together with a new single oven and warming drawer.

I was worried I would have difficulty working it but once started it is easy. I think the choices should have similar corresponding symbols as the instruction book. I have still yet to understand how to set two options to cook faster eg a jacket potato in 20 mins? Love extending cooking time facility.

Disappointing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since the first use this product has shown a fault. It has been repaired once but due to the fault it could be one of many things, it keeps cutting out E1003. I will report it again but this is not what I expected of NEFF. Hopefully my other 5 new appliances will not be faulty.

Compact Oven with Microwave
A good looking product from NEFF but it does disappoint!
The touch screen is difficult to use as it does not always recognise a finger and it takes several touches for the screen to respond - and sometimes the numbers will even jump! Bring back knobs! I have just thrown out my previous Neff oven after 32 years and it was working fine, including the knobs. A stand alone Sharp Combi Oven with higher microwave settings was also doing well (after 35 years). An annoying FAULT with this oven is that I often get error code E1003 - "Error in the Microwave system" and I have to restart it. The electronics are not what they should be!
It is supposed to be a grill but there is no special grill pan nor a grill pan handle. Why not?
When using the "combi" function, the microwave will only go to 360W max. Why?

Much slower than an oven with knobs!
This oven takes too long to, first, switch on, then to select the heating type, then to select the temperature you want. NEFF have skimped on the computer firmware that runs the oven, so it behaves like your Mums old computer that has been in an upstairs bedroom for last 10 years! Very, very slow. Get a cheaper oven with knobs and dials
