Attractive looking oven with some good functions
Black finish looks attractive - a more modern feel than stainless steel and hopefully easier to keep free of finger marks.
Rapid heat function is good - a clear audible signal tells you when the oven is up to temperature. The 'hot air gentle' setting may be iseful for baking.
I doubt we'll ever use the steam function or the timers.
Only downside we've found so far is a very significant temperature difference between shelves with the default '3D hot air setting'. OK when you know about it but would expect more consistency of temperature in a modern fan oven especially as the description in the user manual states: 'The fan distributes heat ... evenly around the cooking compartment'

Great Oven
The results from the oven are great. We are just very disappointed that the settings are difficult to read. They are nowhere near as clear as they were on the demo oven in John Lewis showroom. The figures on the oven settings are difficult to see against the black background. The temperature figures are also difficult to see. Most recipes used so far require a temp of 180 degrees. The dial figures go from 150 up to 200 and it is difficult to see the right place to set the right heat

Top of the range.
Decided to add another Bosch piece of kitchen equipment to my collection after enjoying their superb washing machine and dryer which are amazing.
The oven is sleek with brilliant functions and easy to use, roomy and efficiently handles so many different style of cooking.
Love the steam accessory which gives it top marks for brilliant baking results.
Absolutely wonderful piece of kit.

I’m really pleased with the Bosch Series 4
I’m really pleased with the Bosch Series 4 HQA574BB3B single oven. First off, it looks stunning—the all-black finish is sleek and modern, and it lifts the whole kitchen. Performance is excellent too: it reaches the set temperature quickly, so I’m not hanging around waiting to preheat, and heat feels even across the cavity. It also seems quite economical; based on a few weeks of use my energy consumption hasn’t spiked, which makes me hopeful it’ll help “protect” the bill over time.
A practical note: you do need a qualified electrician to install this oven. Once that was sorted, setup was straightforward and the controls are intuitive. The pyrolytic cleaning feature is a bonus—nice to know deep cleans won’t be a chore.
Overall I’m satisfied. It is a bit expensive in my opinion, but the build quality and performance give me confidence. I’m really hoping it’ll last the next 5–7 years without any issues, and so far it feels like a solid, reliable choice.

Very happy with this oven

You need a torch to use the controls
The oven is very good but the dark user interface makes the appliance almost impossible to use without a torch.
You can alter the brightness of the clock display but there’s no backlight for the oven or clock controls.

Brilliant Bosch!
Only had this a few weeks!Great oven! Heats up quickly and cooks food evenly. Different settings for different foods too. Would have like an insert for the grill tray but can purchase one elsewhere. Best oven we've had!
