The energy saving LED lighting ensures optimal visibility when cooking.When required the intensive setting temporarily increases the extraction rate, with automatic revert after 6 min. At 52 dB the hood is extremely quiet when being used.

Powerful & Unobtrusive
A really powerful extractor fan. I rarely use it beyond the first setting. It has the added benefit of fitting flush to the kitchen units, so I don't bang my head on it when it operates. Not the quietest fan in creation, but certainly effective. Also, the filters are made of steel and are removable and washable. Great stuff.

At least you know when it is operating.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised (and slightly disappointed), when I first switched on my cooker hood fan....it is very noisey !! and not what I expect from Siemens ingenuity. especially for an item which is quite bulky, but having said that, it is effective which is of primary importance.

Nice neat fit and works efficiently. Only negative point is that it is quite difficult to open cover plate to allow extractor to work. It is also easy to forget to open it as fan works without opening cover plate.

Considering this product has Siemens branding it is with some surprize and disappointment that this product is so noisey. Could not recommend this extractor hood.
