Faulty
Machine arrived and installed and first cycle run as per instructions. Machine door opened the next day and water flooded out!! Bosch contacted online after registering warranty and engineer booked for 4 days later. We suspected fault was with inlet valve as machine was filling with water when not in use unless water supply turned off. Engineer came and confirmed the inlet valve needed replacing as part of the valve was missing! Clearly a production error or fault. How can this happen? Aren't products checked and tested?
Seems to be working well now and very quiet but obviously initial problems were disappointing and an inconvenience.

Super, Stylish & Sleek!
I've had a Bosch for nearly 25 years, it still worked, but It was high time I replaced it with one with a bigger drum & spin speed. I chose this model as I don't like black doors! Why are Bosch & other manufacturers mainly going for black doors? Can Bosch design team create a door that is more flush to the machine too?
Anyway, this one had a 9kg drum & 1400 spin speed, just what I was looking for. Good performance, clothes are cleaner & come out dryer & it looks stylish!
I wish as it's a large 9kg drum, it had a drum light as in the Series 6.

Aa good machine with helpful features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had the machine about a month, so this is an initial impression. The machine is a sensible price and seems to be competent at the core job of washing clothes. We particularly like the ability to select temperatures, the ability to speed up otherwise lengthy programs, and the large door. The delay function (allowing one to set when the program will end) is particularly helpful - we set the machine program to end when we get up in the morning, then the washing can be put on the line to dry at that point and have all day to dry - particularly helpful in winter. It's also a fairly quiet machine.

Top quality...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Bosch washing machine is the perfect balance of excellent quality and great value for money. It has all the features you will ever need and is the most quiet machine I have ever owned. The clothes once finished are almost dry thanks to the 1400rpm spin speed, the easy iron mode is a game changer and is perfect for all manner of clothing, especially shirts. The speed perfect mode completes a full cycle in under 90 minutes and the clothes look immaculate thanks to the high quality of the drum. German engineering at it's best...

An all round excellent washing machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, the machine is so incredibly quiet, when washing it's almost impossible to hear the motor and when spinning you can hear it, but it's not an intrusive noise and fades into the background of the room. The programmes make sense and the quick wash option toggle on each is very welcome. You can feel the design and build quality every time you use it, this is a machine with a lot of thought put into its function and it feels built to last. Would highly recommend anyone to consider this machine.

Very good machine
Only had the machine 3 weeks and very please with it, cleans well! Loads of programs that can shorten by using speed plus button, Variable Spin speeds, and silent wash,

BOSCH Series 4 washing machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brilliant: Easy to use. The dial has a good choice of washing cycles to choose from plus the added option of the iron assist which saves on ironing shirts and t shirts.
washing comes out clean even on the short wash cycle. I find the 9kg a good size drum takes king size bedding plus other garments easily.
It is very quiet a pleasure to use would highly recommend.

Four for Fairness
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Series 4 WM is very quiet and slim washing machine.A bit expensive but the satisfaction iswe are paying for quality name 'Bosch'. It does its job very silently and fairly. Simple and easy to operate. Hopefully, it lasts at least 10 years with careful use and maintenance. The only minus point is that the shell of the washing machine is rather delicate . In areas like front upper edges, you can actually press with your fingers and it simply yeilds. I guess it is eco friendly alloy material, I mean, the casing is made of . But I am not sure it would minimise pollution when it reaches retirement age by which I mean on the day of ultimate disposal in 10-15 years time.
Overall very good product.
